Guest Vyce Report post Posted March 14, 2003 Very, very depressing. I'm suprised Anglesault hasn't eaten the barrel of gun yet.
Guest Mole Report post Posted March 14, 2003 The thing that really sucks bout all this is angle wont be allowed to bow out gracefully as one of the finest WWF/E champs of all time, but as Brock Lesnars bitch. You know that Angles injury's gonna be used to push Brock, which is the last thing he deserves. Anyone going to WM or the SM's before it, take some cool signs to show Angle he'll be remembered. Actually, this is something good. He won't be looked at as Brock's bitch, but as a real champion. They should push this as Angle's last match, or a retirement match. That way it will give Brock the push as the REAL next big thing. Think about it, what did Mick Foley do for Triple-Juice? Same idea for Brock, it will work wonders. Anyway, I find this really really really sad. I love Kurt, being one of my favorite wrestlers of recent time. However, if his life is at stake, I don't think he should continue wrestling. No way, no how.
Invictus 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2003 This is unbelievable. Unbelievable. If Kurt Angle is forced to retire I doubt I could watch WWE any more simply because it would not be the same.
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted March 14, 2003 then Why the hell Risk it? If Kurt Angle is that badly injured then why the hell should he go into a intense Match at Wrestlemania with Baby Hewy who hauls people around and drops them without too much protection. Though Lesnar did bounce Angle around during thatr Cage match. so maybe Angle can tough it out and then go into Total Rehab. But I pray it isn't as terrible as predicted. Guest geniusMoment Report post Posted March 14, 2003 Dreamers injury was always part work, they even said so in the torch. You don't work like he did with your back broke. If you are an old torch subscriber go back to an issue right before or after they debuted on TNN and it describes his condition. If you can't find it I have it laying around somewhere and will get it. As for Austin, you are correct. Angles surgery will be like the one Austin received, I just read the article wrong and thought they were talking about Angle receiving the more advanced surgery now. My bad
Guest wwF1587 Report post Posted March 14, 2003 NO NO NO NO DAMNIT DAMNIT FUCK FUCK!! this is soo surreal... I can not believe this... If Kurt is forced to retire, they better put out a 2 disc "Best Of Kurt Angle" dvd for him.... my hero.... thank you Kurt for all the hilarious segments with Austin, for all the great matches that I won't soon forget...for everything... LONG LIVE ANGLE!!
Guest teke184 Report post Posted March 15, 2003 To those who you who think this is a work, it isn't unless a LOT of the wrestling reporters are getting worked. According to the latest Observer, Angle's neck is so screwed that Dr. Youngblood wanted to fuse FOUR of his discs at first and told him he'd never wrestle again. Angle's determined to get just enough surgery to get him going again and prove Youngblood wrong, but I think that a lot of people believe this may be the end for him. Guest SP-1 Report post Posted March 15, 2003 If Angle thinks this is it . . . I have a feeling he may do something incredibly stupid and get hurt, or do something incredibly stupid and give us one of the greatest matches ever.

Guest My Eyebrow is on fire Report post Posted March 16, 2003 Why wish a serious neck injury on a person you have never met? because you hear he is a bad guy from the internet? for me, yes, i'm that heartless.
Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted March 16, 2003 Some good news for once about Kurt Angle SLAM! has put up a story on Kurt Angle's personal trainer/agent, David Hawk. In the story, Hawk says that Angle plans to have surgery one month after WrestleMania, then start rehab for his return two months following surgery. Hawk says Angle is hoping to be back in 8 months, not the 1 year doctors believe he will have to miss. For Full Story go to Mother Canuckers!

Guest ViciousFish Report post Posted March 16, 2003 Kurt's my favorite wrestler and him back in 8 months would be totally kick ass, but only if he's FULLY recuped. I mean how bad would it be if he comes back, gets a even slightly bad bump and ends up retiring because he wasn't totally ready. Like Anglesault said...the boy's not quite right.
