Guest Mad Dog Report post Posted March 14, 2003 That tv stations can't play any Simpsons episodes before 1999? I mean in the last 3 months I think I've seen last years Halloween episode maybe 6 times and it's been close to 3 or 4 years since I've seen anything from season 4 or 5. Guest Eagan469 Report post Posted March 14, 2003 I think Simpsons has split their syndication deal so that a station can either buy the rights to the first few seasons of episodes, or the more recent ones. For example, my local FOX affiliate was running the first and second seasons while my local WB affiliate was running more recent ones. (this was about 2 years ago) The Simpsons are only on one network here. Although, that would explain why it feels like I have seen every episode 100 times.
