I've been watching Undergrads on Comedy Central's comedy cartoon block for awhile now and I completely love it. Does anyone remember the show from when it premiered, because I can't remember what channel it was on or what day and time it was on. Also does anyone know if anything other than bad ratings led to it being cancelled.

I just can't understand how that show didn't turn into a hit show. I understand shows like The Critic not making it because of the often high brow humor that alot of people didn't get. However Undergrads used humor that everyone could enjoy without being crude and aiming for the lowest common denominator. It's a show that anyone under 30 should've ate up with a spoon.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it was on MTV. Not really sure when, though.

I didn't really discover the show until last spring, when I got Teletoon (who show it in Canada), but it's fucking awesome and I wish they kept making it.

I also thought it was on MTV. And i truly can't understand how a show like Undergrads could've failed on MTV.

It was probably a case of them moving the show around alot and never hyping it up. Kinda like Fox did with Family Guy and many other good shows.

It was indeed MTV that first aired the show and it was on Mondays at 9/10 pm(pending on your time zone), so it probably got canned because it was up against RAW back during RAW's hot streak before bottoming out(2001).

Actually i think Raw's why I never watched it when it was originally on. I now seem to remember seeing it advertised, but Raw being so good at the time made me forget about it.

Undergrads was grear. But to say that it didn't have crude humor is a lie.

Anyone remember Rocko in a diaper? Gimpy collecting "white gold" to sell at a sperm bank? Nitz's library clean-up job?

Man, those were all hilarious. But somewhat crude. Anyways, Undergrads was a great show...it's too bad it died.

Meh, I specifically remember it replacing Celebrity Deathmatch on MTV at the Thursday Night 10pm timeslot, and I'm pretty sure that about 4 episodes in it moved on over to Monday... I watched the first maybe 10 out of the 13 episodes, though.

Well ok I realize that I should've said that it's not "overly crude".

Honestly I don't even know why I brought it up since i have nothing against crudeness on my comedy shows. Hell i usually like "crude" shows.

I love the show.

I was a freshmen in college when the show started so I had just gone through similar.

I'm hoping this gets a DVD set.

ur right this show is funny. i miss the critic, truly a show canned before it had a chance. it deserves a dvd set i think as does family guy.

Undergrads is great but Teletoon beats it like a dead horse when they show the entire run of the show every two weeks.

By the way, Undergrads is coming on DVD soon but its probably going to be a Canadian exclusive.

I was surfing comedy central and low and behold it's on right now. I had no idea it was on any channel anymore. I'll be taping these episodes just like i did everyone of the oblongs and brothers grunt.
