Seeing Wrestlemania XX live at Madison Square Garden is a wrestling geek's wet dream.

The reason he called it a Switcheroo was because Mania usually has the Dome and Slam has the smaller venue...Here it is planned for 2004 to switch that around.

Yeah that's clear now, however when I read the thread title I got all scared because I thought "Oh no XX's not gonna be at MSG!"

I live in Manhattan, and was greatly anticipating going to Mania next year. Hope Angle does come back, and in time for the next Mania. That would be sweet.

Nah...Edge will be back by then though...So maybe that helps a little...

Physically, he could be ready in eight months without hitting the ring. And given it's Angle, and Austin took just about twelve months when he was a year or two older and had taken a lot more of a beating.

Mexico's a bad option because the peso = ass compared to the dollar and the country's economy is in the crapper, meaning less people will have the disposable income to buy overpriced WWE tickets. They'll do stupid stuff like jacking up the ticket prices and will end up getting FAR less revenue than expected.

1st of all. I dont think the WWE will sent WM, Summer, Royal or Survivor to Mexico in this momment.

But, recently the Spanish announcers said that the WWE is coming to Mexico soon, last year it was announced too, but it looks like some business troubles canceled the visit. Now, the WWE sent Lita & Stacy to Mexico for a pic & sign apparition, in Cancun, and it looks like it was Sucessful.

Of course like you said, the Peso/Dollar thing is screwing things really bad, right now is 11+- = 1 dll.

Maybe if the WWE comes here and the show is packed they will think about some minor PPV.

They aren't going to Tampa anytime soon. They wanted to have WMX8 there, but realized the walk from the locker room to the ring would be over a mile long and decided that wouldn't work. Sorry to those of you in Tampa.

The walk at WM VIII was quite a ways I remember.

Yeah when I saw "switcheroo" I thought they'd put SummerSlam at the Garden. We all knew with I and X, XX would be at the Garden.

Miller Park could be okay for XXI, the Midwest hasn't had a WM since 13 in Rosemont.

Tangent: why didn't Vince ever do a WrestleMania or Summerslam at Chicago Stadium? That could've been like 21,000 people if they really packed them in, even moreso than usual. I know the United Center got Summerslam '94, but as anyone from Chicago will attest...it's not the same.

Wasn't SummerSlam '94 the first event ever at the United Center?

C'mon Summerslam 2003/04' live from Salt Lake City, Utah for the first time ever! If they want we'll *allow* them to dedicate it to the pregnant Elizabeth Smart!

Really though I feel that Summerslam 03/04 either should be here in Salt Lake City, Utah. I feel that it could be a packed house at the E-Center. We need a PPV or at least a TV broadcast to come. We've only had 1 TV broadcast and that was the first ever LIVE smackdown where they debuted the BRAND NEW set. So I feel that we the Utahn fans are ready for a PPV!

I believe so. Oddly enough, on ESPN Classic last night they showed the last event ever at the Chicago Stadium, Toronto Maple Leafs over the Chicago Blackhawks in Game 6 of the Western Quarterfinals.

Well, I'm all for them showing the '94 playoffs, so long as they don't show the '95 series.

Likely it's gonna be GeorgiaDome or Carrier Dome.

Unfortuantly, the SU administration banned WWE from the Carrier Dome durring the crash tv era.

I've planning to go to XX for quite a while now. It will probably cost a fortune though, so that will need to be taken into consideration.

Too contraversial.

Could be because of what happened to Shawn in Syracuse. (i.e. wrestlers getting into parking lot brawls is too much excitment for such a small town) Have the WWF ever been there since?

I think there's a smaller arena in Syracuse that WWF/E has run a few shows in since then, but since the Carrier Dome is on the University's campus, they just don't want them on there.
