Guest redbaron51 Posted March 14, 2003 Report Posted March 14, 2003 Wednesday, March 12, 2003 Mayhem Live Up To Their Name Norwegian death-metallers Mayhem are known for their extreme antics live, but a fan of the band got a surprise last week when he was struck in the head with a sheep's head and suffered a fractured skull. Members of Mayhem had been carving up a dead sheep on stage as part of their act, when the animal's head flew off the lead singer's knife. AP quotes the fan as saying, "My relationship to sheep is ambivalent now." The fan filed a police report, but has not pressed charges. Police have said that there was nothing to suggest that the act was intentional.
