Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted March 14, 2003 So, I flip on CZW's TV show last night, and I see Tatanka wrestling in a tag match. I must say, he's looking quite chubbier than the last time I saw him in the WWF. How long has he been in CZW? Is this recent? How long will they keep him? Also, Wifebeater was at ringside (w/ Zandig). What is Wifebeater's role w/ CZW now? I know he retired as a wrestler, but what is his current role w/ the company? Guest ShooterJay Report post Posted March 14, 2003 Tatanka was basically a one-shot. This took place at CZW's atrocious "Uncivilized" show February 8th. He was a last-minute replacement for Kevin Sullivan, who no-showed. I think he also showed up with an investor's group, and as a result of Tatanka, CZW got some more capital. When you need to impress potential investors, call TATANKA~! Keep that in mind TNA! Wifebeater is still retired. He has a great deal of loyalty to CZW and Zandig, so he still goes to all the shows, and when called upon fills various non-wrestling roles. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted March 14, 2003 Beater and Zandig were at ringside for the Tatanka/Heartbreaker vs. Rockin' Rebel/Greg Matthews (yes, Tatanka faced those two) to keep the crowd from completly shitting on the match and all those involved. Rebel and Matthews do a decent job at drawing heat, but against their opponents, they might as well been faces. Add Zandig and Beater at ringside in the corner of Tatanka and Heartbreaker, allow them to take cheap shots at Rebel and Matthews, and you have a shitty match which the CZW crowd can't completly hate.
