Guest HopeSpot Posted February 6, 2002 Report Posted February 6, 2002 This might be the most under-rated tape site on the night. Low prices, good qaulity, excellent delivery what else could you ask for? I've usually gotta wait 3 weeks up in here in Canada but 4 fucking days and my tapes were here! Awesome site.
Guest ThePhoenix230 Posted February 6, 2002 Report Posted February 6, 2002 I echo this, I order from them all the time, I'm in the U.S., and delivery is still damn fast, awesome quality, great selection, etc etc. Order from them.....NOW!!!!!!
Guest areacode212 Posted February 6, 2002 Report Posted February 6, 2002 I don't get tapes from him that quickly but I recommend him as well. Rob has a good selection and does have pretty low prices. I bought the 94 Super J-Cup and the AJW Dream Slam II from him, and they were both good quality. Also, don't forget to join his mailing list. Every month, he picks one member to receive a free tape of your choice (but it has to be a $5-$7 tape...you can't pick his Kobashi compilation or anything) I was the lucky winner back in September and got the AAA When Worlds Collide PPV for free, which made me happy.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted February 6, 2002 Report Posted February 6, 2002 The prices are really good... What tapes would you consider recommended viewing?
Guest Posted February 9, 2002 Report Posted February 9, 2002 You should get the Kobahi thing since tghat one guy says he maeks one.
Guest areacode212 Posted February 9, 2002 Report Posted February 9, 2002 Well, be warned that his Ultimate Kenta Kobashi Compilation is $65 (but it's 5 tapes). You should probably ask on the Foreign board for advice on what to watch, but if you're new to puro, they'll probably recommend the 1994 Super J-Cup, which Golden Boy is selling for $10.
Guest Carbon Tiger Posted February 9, 2002 Report Posted February 9, 2002 I've ordered from gb tapes before and wow cheap prices, good shipping, nice selection. Whats not to like. Well The J Crowns are always good. The 95 match w/Ohtani vs. Ultimo Dragon rules all. Also the Greatest tag match ever (Misawa/Kobashi vs. Kawada/Taue) is that damn good. 1997 Giant tour was grat too w/Misawa vs. Kobashi in their best match. And for more recient stuff All Japan vs. New Japan from 2001 was great (Tenryu vs. Mutoh)
Guest areacode212 Posted February 9, 2002 Report Posted February 9, 2002 Hey, is that Tenryu vs. Mutoh match the one that a lot of people thought was MOTY? I'd be interested in that. And is the rest of the card good too?
Guest Matt Posted February 12, 2002 Report Posted February 12, 2002 I've ordered from him extensively (Including the Kobashi comp) and am extremely impressed. The Kobashi tapes (27 hours!) only had two matches that were unwatchable, one that was just barely such and the rest were fine. Spent a lot of my christmas cash there (also got a two tape Kawada comp *excellent* J Crown 96, J Cup 95, and Toryumon PPV July 2001) and 10 tapes for a little less than 100 bucks is gravy.
Guest Posted February 13, 2002 Report Posted February 13, 2002 I'm really intrested in his UWF/Mid South tapes...I only need 110 more dollars! Yay! Unyil then I think I;m gonna get some M-Pro, people say that i'd like that, nothing but cruiserweights. is J-Cup 2000 anygood?
