Guest Some Guy Report post Posted March 20, 2002 This came up in another thread. I think Flair and/Arn manage, Benoit leads, Kaynon takes Tully's role, Rhyno enforces, and Awesome takes the 4th spot like a much more talented Sid. This could work, as all 4 are out and coming back soon (except maybe Rhyno, when is he due to come back?) who could be replaced by Saturn if need be. Any way all 4 would be fresh faces and are good to great workers. They could come in a faces and take out the Undertaker or heels and go after HHH and the belt. Arn I think would be better as a manager as Flair is supposed to be an owner. Arn could do most of the talking ot make up for all 4 guys lack of good mic skills or in Kanyon's case his speech impediment. I didn't pick Jericho, Christian, and Storm because shouldn't be babyfaces ever. Edge was my 1st thought for Tully's role but he is too goofy and hasn't demonstrated an ability to be anything but that, Kanyon has in WCW during his feud with Raven. What do you guys think? Guest 5_moves_of_doom Report post Posted March 20, 2002 I'd say have Flair actually part of the horsemen, he still has about 2 years left in him and he could just wrestle in tag matches or ppv's. Have it be Benoit, Flair, Jericho, and Awesome as the enforcer, or maybe even Brock Lesner. Have Arn manage.
Guest TheMikeSC Report post Posted March 20, 2002 How about we not RE-HASH OLD ANGLES AND BUILD NEW ONES? Yeesh. -=Mike ...I'm telling you, Outback Jack II. You can just print cash with that gimmick
Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted March 20, 2002 "How about we not RE-HASH OLD ANGLES AND BUILD NEW ONES?" Exactly! I've been saying it for months.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted March 20, 2002 The 4 horsemen could be Beniot, Malenko, Kanyon, DDP. I would let DDP be the mouth piece, if he drops the positive page/SNL Al Franklin character. Dean Malenko as Tully working only in tag matches with Beniot, then have Kanyon as the singles wrestler that destroys the opponets with moves rarely seen in American tv. Guest teke184 Report post Posted March 20, 2002 HEYMAN should be leading a stable, not Flair. With Brock Lesnar alerady under his wing, Heyman can take another 2-3 of "his boys" and put them together in a VERY interesting mega-group. I'd say that Rhyno and Mike Awesome would be good fits, provided that anyone will work with Awesome. This doesn't have to be a Horsemen group or The Deadly Alliance. This can be something completely new.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted March 20, 2002 I don't want to see another Horsemen, but if they can back I would put Benoit, Kanyon, Awesome & Ric Flair himself as the new 4 Horsemen. Arn plays the J.J. Dillion role as manager.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted March 20, 2002 I find Rhyno & Awesome to be too similar. A better group would be Benoit (Enforcer), Jericho (Leader), Rhyno/Awesome/Lesnar (Badass), Storm (Technical master).
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted March 20, 2002 I want Benoit, Malenko, Storm and Awesome (as the enforcer) They can have Flair as a mouthpiece. bps would be happy.
Guest Some Guy Report post Posted March 20, 2002 have teh WWF come up with a creative new angle in the last 6 months? No So since they seem to have writers block, why not bring back one that makes sense. Flair realizes he's too old to settle things with taker by himself, so he brings back the Horseman and uses Benoit to settle it for him. This angle would at least give some direction to the 4 guys carreers.
Guest teke184 Report post Posted March 20, 2002 I was just pulling names out of my @ss on that one, as I was thinking of people that Paul had worked with for a significant amount of time in ECW. Benoit would be a good fit, but will the WWF bring him back as a face or a heel? Lance Storm would be a good fit as well. In addition to two powerful guys and a technical guy, they probably need a high-flyer. Unfortunately, RVD is not an option because this would be a heel group, and I can't think of another high-flyer in the WWF right now.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted March 20, 2002 Flair vs Paul E would be a good feud for Raw. Flairs team of technical mat wrestlers vs Paul Heyman's strong man team could be very exciting.
