Guest Brian Report post Posted March 20, 2002 I'm just going to post everything up until Royal Rumble and work from there. This is fresh stuff from me, so I don't think anyone besides myself has read it. WWF RAW - 1/14/02 Rey and Juventud vs. Tajiri and Funaki At 7:10, Rey hits an arm-drag on a running Tajiri sending him to the outside. Juventud gets Funaki into position for a Juvi driver at 7:30, but Funaki falls out. Rey goes for a top rope move but Funaki reverses it into a cloverleaf. X-Pac runs down and delivers and X-Factor on the floor to Tajiri. Juventud gets up and breaks up the cloverleaf. He helps Rey up and they deliver a double clothesline to Funaki. Rey climbs to the top rope and hits a moonsault on Funaki followed by a Juventud 450 splash for the pin at 8:24. X-Pac slides into the ring and points at a recovering Tajiri on the outside. Immediately, Rey bounces off the ropes and hits a flipping tope into a headscissors on Tajiri. <Commercial Break> Raven and the Impact Players vs. Christian and Palumbo & O’Haire At 5:40, O’Haire and Palumbo come in and deliver the double superkick to Lance Storm. Christian goes for the Un-Prettier on Credible, but Raven rolls in from the outside and hits the Even-flow DDT on Christian. O’Haire breaks it up. O’Haire picks up Raven and Palumbo delivers a high leg lariat. Pin is broken up by Credible and Palumbo is pulled to the outside. Storm picks up O’Haire by the legs and locks in the Canadian Maple for the submission at 6:52. Jericho tells Austin that another ECW wrestler will fall tonight in a Jericho Invitational match-up tonight. <Commercial Break> Booker T comes to the ring. First, he wants to tell RVD that since he couldn’t beat him for the US title, why is he trying to go after the WCW belt. He says tonight he has a tag match with Test advertised tonight against the Dudleys for the titles. Booker T says that after he wins tonight, he’ll be the first person ever to have unified tag titles and the WCW Championship. Jericho’s music breaks, and Jericho tells Booker that he’s “not thinking right junior”. Jericho tells Booker that he better worry about his ass tonight because Jericho knows who’s going to win at Royal Rumble. RVD’s music hits and he comes through the crowd with Paul Heyman. Heyman gets on the mic and tells Jericho to shut up because the crowd’s asleep. He tells Booker to shut up because his one fluke win over the “whole f’n show” doesn’t mean anyone will take him seriously. Because the crowd knows who is going to win on Sunday, and there’s no doubt that it is “R-V-D”. <Commercial Break> Heyman stays to announce for the match. He mentions that ECW will initiate their master plan to take out Flair and start taking over the WWF. Light-Heavyweight Championship X-Pac vs. Chavo Guerrero X-Pac wins by DQ at 6:45 when Tajiri interferes and pummels X-Pac. Mysterio and Juventud clear Tajrii and Chavo out of the ring leaving X-Pac inside. Mysterio then has X-Pac propped up in the corner and hits a tornado DDT on him. <Commercial Break> WCW Championship Chris Jericho vs. Tazz Jericho controls the early portion of the match working over Tazz’s knee and keeping him grounded. Tazz reverses an Irish whip at 4:40 and hits a delayed T-Bone Tazplex. Pin for two and a half. Tazz staggers a little, then picks up Jericho. Tazz goes for a powerbomb but Jericho flips and lands on his feet, goes for the Walls of Jericho, but Tazz blocks, so Jericho drops into a single-leg grapevine. Tazz reaches the ropes. Jericho dominates again before going for the breakdown at 6:35. Tazz elbows out and reverses it into the Tazplex. Jericho blocks twice but Tazz loses his balance a little and rams him into the corner. Tazz backs up a few steps and delivers the Tazplex. Booker T pulls Jericho out of the ring and helps him walks to the back. Ref rings the bell for the count out at 7:06. RVD meets them at the top of the ramp and starts brawling with Booker. Tazz comes up the ramp and chokes out Jericho who starts tapping. Austin comes out and throws RVD off the ramp then starts punching down Tazz. <Commercial Break> Regal books a tag match for next week’s RAW, featuring Rey and Juventud vs. Tajiri and Funaki vs. Chavo and Eddie vs. X-Pac and his partner. X-Pac smiles in his chair. Eddie/Raven vs. DDP/Christian Raven and Christian eventually spill over onto the outside and brawl up the ramp. DDP hits the diamond cutter on Eddie for the pin at 10:10. <Commercial Break> Tag Team Championship Dudleys vs. Booker T and Test Tazz comes down to the ring about 6:10 and pulls Booker out, and they brawl. Test gets hit with the 3-D for the pin at 6:26. Jericho aids Booker but the Dudleys roll out of the ring, and protect Tazz while helping him to the back. <Commercial Break> Austin/Regal vs. RVD/Rock Regal and Rock start out. Regal quickly shoots in and gets to Rock’s knee. Regal works the knee for the opening minutes before Rock fights out and makes the tag to RVD. RVD gets in and gets the upper hand on Regal hitting his spots before Regal takes down RVD and starts brawling with him. He tags in Austin who continues to pile on the offense. At 6:40, RVD begins to fight out before getting caught with an Austin spinebuster. Regal eventually gets tagged in, and he takes out a bloody RVD. Regal locks in a chinlock at 8:20, but RVD battles out. Regal catches RVD before he can make his move and tries whipping RVD into Austin, but RVD reverses. Regal knocks Austin off the apron and RVD catches Regal with a spinning heel kick. RVD makes the hot tag and Rock knocks Regal out of the ring and starts motioning to Austin. Regal gets back in as Austin teases, and he gets Rock from behind. Regal whips Rock but Rock reverses and catches him with the Rock bottom while Austin watches. He turns to see RVD hit a dive from the top rope. Rock hits the People’s Elbow on Regal for good measure and the pin at 9:34.
