Jaguars sign Douglas

Recommended Posts

I honestly wasn't expecting this at all because everybody alive was saying Hugh was KC-bound after he met with them, so imagine my surprise when I turn to ESPN and see that Jacksonville has signed him to a 5 year, 32 million deal.

With Douglas coming in, maybe Brackens will saty and the DTs won't suck so bad next year. Plus the recent signing of Mike Peterson couldn't hurt(although I think Claiborne's better) and if the Jags manage to get Andre Johnson in the draft, it'll be GREAT to be a Jag fan again.

ALL YOUR SACKS ARE BELONG TO DOUGLAS~!!!!!!!!

I was pretty surprised last night when ESPN announced that Douglas was close to signing a deal with the Jags and even happier when they signed him. Immediate upgrade on the d-line, which has the potential to be one of the NFL's best if Stroud and Henderson can play up to their potential and Brackens stays.

The Jaguars signed former New England reciever Donald Hayes, so I think they might try to go corner in the draft. Johnson's moving up the boards, he may not even be there at 8. Trufant or Newman would be a great pick too cause Jacksonville could use a corner. The Jags could still use a middle linebacker too. I agree with you though. After four, five years there is reason for Jacksonville fans to be excited again.
