Match review request

Alright, this is gonna be a bit obscure, but it's from the old Smarks forum board.

 

Back a few months ago, in late December / early January, there was a thread debating what should be considered Match of the Year.  Several people voted for the 12/14/00 Kawada / Fuchi v. Nagata/ Iizuka tag match from the New Japan "2nd Judgement" PPV.  

 

I've got the tape for that PPV, but I very much want the review for the match that was written in that thread.  I believe it was written by one of the DVD guys (I'm not sure if it was Dean or not), but it was a great review for the match, and I'm desperately looking for it.

 

Can anyone help me out?

Yeah, it was Dean; I think it was around #125 or so for them...check the 120's and use the Find function to get Fuchi's name.  It'll turn up.

I also highly recommend Brendan Welsh-Balliett's review of the show from Buster Time Magazine - http://bustertime.topcities.com/reviews/sh...ndjudgement.htm  Good review, referencing the DVDVR review which gave the match so much hype.  While I like Justin's review, it focuses more on the actual in-match work and less on the story, which is why it got all those votes - Dean and Shaddax tend to cover that more.

 

By the way, the entire PPV is quite good.

Seing as DEAN did the review, I found it using the DVD Google search and typing in three words:

 

Fuchi

 

Iizuka

 

Motherfucking

 

It came right up.  #127

 

Read the Yoshie vs. Tenzan review, too.  Maybe the funniest thing I've ever read from DEAN.

Fuchi! Iizuka!  Motherfucking!  That's a cool tagline for a match, if you ask me.  That rocks.  Considering I did this last Dec. PPV, I should do that one.  I don't go batshit over the main, but it's pretty damned good...it's just getting through the Ka Shin tripe and Kanemoto that's going to be hard...
