Yep, that's right, Paris. The people who designed that place were krazy kats. A giant axis of cool looking buildings across the city? 12 roads leading into the Arc de Triomphe? Makes no sense, but it looks really good. No one is denying that Paris is beautiful. I am. The people there don't clean up after their dog. They also piss in the street, which I find enormously entertaining. I'll tell you one thing that doesn't work in Paris - the Pompidou centre. So what if its inside out, it looks shite. Paris as a whole is good apart from the fact that everything is too expensive. That and the fact that the French enjoy hitting innocent pedestrians with their cars on a regular basis. Pearl Harbor wasn't supposed to be a surprise attack it was supposed to be a carefully coordinated strike that would happen minutes after the President goit a declaration of war. The US gov't, while they anticipated a pre-emptive strike didn't know Pearl Harbor would be the target. The Pearl Harbor attack was a suprise. This of course could be debated.
