With the success of Metal Ed, almost everybody had a gimmick poster alter-ego for a while. Then they all got banned because they were wasting time. So why not have a folder that can just be an exclusive playground for all these weird characters? This was just a thought that spontaneously came to mind, so all the problems with it haven't gone through my head yet. Just thought I'd throw it out.

That's kind of the same thing as confining wild animals to a zoo. A gimmick poster's natural habitat is all over the board providing comic relieve where there is a willing (or unwilling, I suppose) straight man to bounce off of.
