WWE House Show Results 03.15.03

Lincoln, NE (RAW Brand)

Exclusive 411 Report by Chris Pankonin

Jeff Hardy vs. Christian

The crowd was pretty hot, so Hardy and Christian spend nearly 10 minutes posing down to the crowd, with Hardy getting cheered, Christian booed. Christian also did a spot where he tries to jump over the top rope and trips. Once the match actually got going, Hardy hits the swanton for the win.

Winner - Jeff Hardy

Maven vs. Rico

Pretty run of the mill match, with Rico getting the spinning heel kick for the win.

Winner - Rico

Trish Stratus vs. Jazz vs. Victoria

WWE Women's Title Match

Lots of near falls, with Victoria eventually getting the win by pulling on Trish's pants, exposing her ass to the good fans in Lincoln. Richards and Jazz get beat up by Trish after the match to allow a Trish celebration after the match

Winner - Trish Stratus

The Hurricane vs. Rodney Mack w/Teddy Long

Long does his usual fight "the man" spiel, and says Mack is going to give 'Cane payback for beating his good friend The Rock Monday night. Hurricane hits all of his trademark moves, and hits the Eye of the Hurricane for the win.

Winner - The Hurricane

After the match, Earl Hebner comes to the ring to "You Screwed Bret" chants. Yes, even Lincoln, Nebraska still remembers Montreal. Long gets on the mic and feeds off the chant by saying Hebner shouldn't be there because he was the man who screwed Bret Hart. Hebner gets on the mic and says "If you ain't white, you ain't right." to Long, which actually kind of shocked the whole crowd. Didn't know Hebner was racist.

Spike & D'Von Dudley vs. Morley & Storm

Morley and Storm nearly have the match won, win Bubba Dudley comes out to make the save. The Chief gets put through the table with a 3D as the Dudleyz pick up the win. After the match, a 15 minute post-match celebration ensues with the Dudleys, as they bring in a kid from the crowd, pose for camera pictures and give him a piece of the table, then the Dudleys literally go into the crowd and slap hands with everyone (almost literally!) Lincoln loves the Dudley Boyz.

Winner - The Dudley Boyz

--Intermission--

RVD & Kane vs. 3 Minute Warning

Rosey enjoyed showing off his fat gut to the crowd, which was entertaining at first, but got old after about 10 minutes. Lots of stalling and running around before the match ever gets started. Kane hits the chokeslam and RVD hits the Five Star to get the pin TWENTY FIVE minutes after the start of the match! Lonnnnng one.

Winners - Kane & RVD

Test vs. Chris Jericho

Jericho gets on the mic and berates the Nebraska "Cornholes, or whatever they're called, they suck." Jericho actually was pretty over with the crowd anyway. Test taps out to the Walls of Jericho after Christian interferes.

Winner- Chris Jericho

Goldust vs. Steven Richards

Goldust did his tourettes bit before the match. An interesting note and add on to his gimmick is that as soon as he gets momentum he goes into "shock" and starts convulsions which allowed Richards to take advantage. Goldust eventually recovers and gets the curtain call for the win.

Winner - Goldust

Triple H vs. Booker T

World Heavyweight Title

No Flair tonight, which disappointed the crowd. Very slow start as Trip bails every time Booker lands any offense whatsoever. A ref bump prevents Booker from getting a pin, Triple H recovers hits the Pedigree but still no ref. Nick Patrick comes down and counts two, then Triple H knocks him out for taking too long. H brings in a chair, pastes Booker with it, ref covers but Booker kicks out. Trip eventually hits the low blow and gets the clean pin over Booker T.

Winner - Triple H

Well at least this happened at a house show and not on TV; because that would be a fucking fiasco.

So HHH had Booker beat...knocked out the ref...and then beat him again?

Maybe he is going to lose at Mania.

After seeing the results of that HHH vs. Booker match, no chance in HELL will Booker win at Mania.

well that seems like an interesting house show, and what's with the racist coment by Hebner?

LoL....oh man.

For some reason...I'm picturing Hebner say that and it is very funny to me.

The villainous slime.

Anyone else want to send Earl some pillowcases with eye-holes cut in them?

Weird comment by Hebner, but the real quesiton is..how long until we see people actually wearing pillowcases in the crowd?! I'm sure Vince wouldn't like fans wearing that stuff on TV.

Or what if some fans in the first row wore them, and everytime Triple H finished a sentence or a followthrough on a punch, they cheered?

Sorry dudes...just started thinking random things there.

As if anyone needed more reasons to hate Earl Hebner, we have another!

Wow--what's worse: the idea of Hebner doing this on his own, or using it as a part of an angle?

This reminds me of something Jim Cornette said about running SMW.

When the Rock and Roll Express were feuding with the Gangstas, Ricky Morton told New Jack, as a joke, that there were some Klansman in the front row. Cornette later joked that there were probably some REAL Klansmen in the balcony going "SHIT, they've blown our cover!"

Hebner better not screw over Booker at Mania...

Hebner saying that is fucking hilarious. Makes him look even worse then he already is.

After the necrophilia bullshit I thought that there was no way that the WWE could do anything as offensive and tasteless ever again. Once again Vince and Co have proven me wrong. Way to go guys.

OMG.. i can see that happening as well in a SHOCKING swerve... damnit.... DAMN IT ALL TO HELL!

Ok We got Triple K and Now we got Earl Anti Canuck Aryan hepner...

Actually I think Hepner was trying to feed off Long's Pro Black anti White gimmick and it went Horribly HORRIBLY wrong...

Earl just needs never to be on the mic again

They've yet to do pedophilia, incest, an on-air WWE character...well, human...getting murdered, and I think there are a few fetishes that they haven't touched yet. They'll try to top this.

I can see it now!

Earl screws Booker and joins HHH and Flair and a to be named wrestler as the 4 Klansmen!

Booker will then join Teddy Long and they will feud with the Klansman as the cocky heels that everyone loves to hate!

I can practically smell the money!

then you see vingnettes of HHH and Ric Flair haggling over prices of Sheets at Walmart wondering if they can cut eyeholes evenly in them.

You know they'll do a Steph and Shane incest gimmick eventually. But I don't see how they could pull off pedophillia.

WTF? How could Trish take out BOTH Steven and Jazz? That's just stupid.

Well, I keep waiting for them to announce that Nidia and Noble are brother and sister. I don't think Shane and Steph would do that storyline, though.

Although supposedly Shane's adopted, so while it would be sick since they still grew up together, it wouldn't be quite so bad... :P

I was expecting it with Al Wilson. I'm shocked they didn't go with it since the angle could have only gotten worse if they did that.

Now, if they did it with the Dudleyz it could be funny, since they wouldn't have to look alike or anything. They could bring in a random Dudley half-sister for it. :P

I'm quite thankful they never did it with Molly...

As for pedophilia--be wary if a wrestler's kid is introduced on the air. I expected them to do it with Reverand D-Von.

They tried to do incest with Ken Shamrock and his "sister" Ryan.

He vetoed it.

Noble and Nidia siblings? That's just silly. Shane is adopted? That can't be. He looks so much like Vince. Speaking of incest, remember when Vince looked down Steph's wedding dress?

Fun fact: Shamrock was adopted as a child.

Shane said he was adopted on Off The Record in the summer of '99, but I don't think Landsberg took him seriously (or heard him) and they didn't bring it up for the rest of the interview (he mentioned this right as the interview was starting).

Also, it should be noted, in this same interview, Stephanie said that she probably would never date a wrestler, since it wouldn't be good for business.

I'm going to bust out the tape in the next few days and transcribe what she says exactly, but it's something along those lines.

It honestly wouldn't surprise me. It seems that all the McMahons' use the following phrase as their mantra "Never Say Never in this Business".

It's got to be Shane bullshitting because he and Vince look so much alike. If he WAS adopted, he was probably the kid of Vince's brother Rod or some other relative.
