Guest converge241 Posted March 17, 2003 Report Posted March 17, 2003 thats the rumor according to Wicked Land / Blabber Mouth after Halford's spring tour ends (with MFn TESTAMENT!!!!) he will join back up the Priest boys for a co-headlining tour
Guest swan Posted March 17, 2003 Report Posted March 17, 2003 What was the story dated?http://www.blistering.com/news/newsdet.php3?ID=4546
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted March 17, 2003 Report Posted March 17, 2003 Holy shit! Testament is still around? Did they ever get back together with Alex Skolnick? Alex Skolnick = way underrated Metal guitarist
Guest swan Posted March 17, 2003 Report Posted March 17, 2003 Holy shit! Testament is still around? Kick ass tour: http://www.knac.com/article.asp?ArticleID=1856
Guest converge241 Posted March 17, 2003 Report Posted March 17, 2003 aw skolnick is the man Murphys not bad either I love testament practice and souls are 2 of my all tiem favorite albums
Guest redbaron51 Posted March 17, 2003 Report Posted March 17, 2003 Never got into Testament, which is surprising I must say. Though I'd love to see Iron Maiden live, though I'd tune out Judas Priest and Rob Halford though
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted March 17, 2003 Report Posted March 17, 2003 I saw Iron Maiden w/ Anthrax in 91' and believe it or not, it was one of the worst Metal Concert's Ive ever seen. And I know damn well both these bands are/were great live. They were pathetic this night. Just not into it at all. Standing around, not working off the crowd, playing sloppy. Both bands really bad reviews and well deserving. I don't if they were sick, hung over, or just tired from touring, but they sucked! But that's fine, because the next 3 months following, Metallica came here and so did Queensryche with Suicidal Tendencies and they were great and still 2 of my favorite concerts.
Guest converge241 Posted March 17, 2003 Report Posted March 17, 2003 fearhavoc you now have the best stuff in your sigs and what not New Order is good too i dont like the later stuff when they tried to get heavier and stopped making a ballad per album on the Demonic album i eman is it a good album? yes but its NOT Testament
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted March 17, 2003 Report Posted March 17, 2003 I lost interest in Testament after Souls of Black. I think the thing that hurt a lot of these bands was when MTV cancelled Head Bangers Ball. I still have a HBB episode when Testament was guest and they debuted the video to "Souls of Black." Oh, and Testament is not Testament without Louie Clemente & Alex Skolnick. And Chuck Billy's head is still too big for his body.
Guest The Metal Maniac Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 I'm willing to sell my first-born child to anyone who can guarantee me the ability to see Iron Maiden play with a re-united Judas Priest. Not that I'd mind seeing Priest with Owens, but it's FUCKING ROB HALFORD.
Guest The Metal Maniac Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Sorry, but Judaspriest.com very specifically denies the rumours. <------- Sad Face. Awwww...
Guest converge241 Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 doesnt change my excitement in the least im seeing the halford tour (with testament and others) and then seeing this one regardless..i was never a big priest fan before or after rob but id still like to see them..they were the bonus to see maiden this summer
