He hurt his knee badly and will be out for a while.

He blew out his knee on 10/26/02. He teamed with Joanie Laurer against Kenzo Suzuki & Hiroshi Tanahashi. Muta got tagged in, did three chops, pressed Tanahashi over his head, and then his knee gave out (fortunately Tanahashi managed to land safely). His knee was so screwed up they had to change the finish of the match to a countout win for the Kings of the Hill.
