Guest Youth N Asia Posted March 17, 2003 Report Posted March 17, 2003 THought I would toss this out a day early...give you an idea what's coming out a little in advance. Here goes. March 18, 2003 8 Mile Abandon Akira Kurosawa's Dreams Alien Tracker Auto Focus Baby Einstein - Baby Neptune Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation Charlotte's Web 2: Wilbur's Great Adventure Cheats Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV (Unrated) Day For Night The Eighteenth Angel Empire The Grey Zone In a Lonely Place Just a Kiss Looking Through Lillian A Man and A Woman The Man from Elysian Fields NYPD Blue Season 1 Personal Velocity Pokemon 4Ever Roger Dodger Sordid Lives Table One The Town is Quiet Trading Spaces Welcome to Collinwood --------------------------------------------- 8 Mile's gonna sell a motherassload of units. At least twice as many as Citizen Toxie Suprised Abandon took so long to come out. It bombed bad, I thought they would have rushed it out sooner.
Guest Flyboy Posted March 17, 2003 Report Posted March 17, 2003 Charlotte's Web 2: Wilbur's Great Adventure The ruining of the classics continue. Oh well... I don't know whether to get 8-Mile or pay for Zelda. Decisions, decisions.
Guest TUS_02 Posted March 17, 2003 Report Posted March 17, 2003 Wait til next week... Roger Rabbit, Futurama (season 1) and Jackass: THe Movie.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV (Unrated) ... 8 Mile's gonna sell a motherassload of units. At least twice as many as Citizen Toxie Booooo-yaaaaaa! It's about time! Oh yea, as for the comparison in sales, let's see... one is a cinematic classic whose release has been anticipated for years, and the other is 8 Mile. Remember, sales don't prove shit Tomorrow I'm planning on taking my final, picking up Citizen Toxie, and basking in its glory.
Guest starvenger Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation Charlotte's Web 2: Wilbur's Great Adventure Waitaminnit, since when did they make sequels for Care Bears and Charlotte's Web?
Guest Lethargic Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 My prediction for this week's sales totals: Empire - 1 unit sold.
Guest RepoMan Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation Charlotte's Web 2: Wilbur's Great Adventure Waitaminnit, since when did they make sequels for Care Bears and Charlotte's Web? Care Bears 2 came out in some time after in the 80s. I saw it in the theatre.

Guest Karnage Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 Aren't there some Miyazaki DVDs coming out sometime this month?

Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 Tomorrow Morning: 8 Mile & Empire will be picked up before Class.
Guest Flyboy Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 Don't you need someone with you get those?
Guest Youth N Asia Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 Don't you need someone with you get those? Stores never check for ID on movies, it's a joke really, they won't let kids see it on the big screen, but freely sell it on video. And he might be 17+
Guest starvenger Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation Charlotte's Web 2: Wilbur's Great Adventure Waitaminnit, since when did they make sequels for Care Bears and Charlotte's Web? Care Bears 2 came out in some time after in the 80s. I saw it in the theatre. Hmm. For some reason I only remember the first one which IIRC introduced the Care Bear Cousins. And yes I saw it in theatres. As for Charlotte's Web 2, I thought that E.B. White made it out that Wilbur basically got to stay in his sty and get old and fat(ter). Was the world REALLY crying out about the fact that we didn't get to learn more about what happened to Wilbur?
Guest Flyboy Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 Don't you need someone with you get those? Stores never check for ID on movies And he might be 17+ All these people say "Flyboy you look older than blah blah", but as soon I step into Wal-Mart or anything other store to buy a R rated DVD that shit ain't flying. ID, parent, or I'm fuck. They even do that shit at Software Etc. when I pre-order games. Plus, I know he's not 17+.

Guest evenflowDDT Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 I've never been checked for buying a movie, even when I was underage. Hell, I've even bought sexually explicit content when it was "illegal" for me to do such. I'm glad we crazy California hippies don't care about rules and the like.
Guest MrRant Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 I guess I will have to get Care Bears II since the baby likes the first Care Bears. Nothing like listening to Care-A-Lot 8x a day.
Guest NoCalMike Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 When I was 9 years old I went and saw the Abyss at the movie theater with a friend. The movie was rated R, and the theater didn't give a rat's ass. Thank goodness I was small back then before all the paranoia came about.
Guest tank_abbott Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 According to EW, In Charlotte's Web part 2 Wilbur isn't charming or lovable, but just another cartoon pig making "fart jokes"...sad....
Guest El Satanico Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 Wilbur was lovable? bah...I found him to be a contemptible swine
Guest MrRant Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 I found him to be a prime example of hickory smoked bacon.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 I went to this spot, Bondys (Couple of blocks away from my house) Got 8 Mile & Empire, Walked out of the store happy. No ID. EDIT: Cheats SUCKS! I can't stand that friggin movie.

You sure you're not thinking of Deep Star Six or Leviathan?
