Guest TheMikeSC Report post Posted March 20, 2003 They seem to have no problem with people getting blown up. You have no proof of that. You are basing it on your hate for PETA and speculation. I'm basing it on them mentioning the misuse of animals but not the attempt to kill people. I can only hope that PETA members begin choking on tofu. -=Mike
Guest JMA Report post Posted March 20, 2003 I'm basing it on them mentioning the misuse of animals but not the attempt to kill people. I can only hope that PETA members begin choking on tofu. But they're not an organization dedicated to the safety of people. They only want ethical treatment of animals. That's all. And even though humans are a type of animal, they're concerned with non sentient ones. And I don't think every member of PETA eats tofu, either. Can't you accept the POSSIBILITY that they thought it was implied that killing people was bad?
Guest Tyler McClelland Report post Posted March 20, 2003 No, he can't, because that would completely refute his point.

Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted March 20, 2003 Ah, way to COMPLETELY miss the point. How so? You insulted an ANIMAL rights group for taking action against an ANIMAL's death when no human casualties were involved. What's the point? Oh, let me guess... PETA should be lobbying for the Palestinians because they're ANIMALS, right? Did I get the joke? Oh ho ho, you are a funny funny man Mike. Nice try kiddo. You can make all the HILARIOUS insults you want towards the UN or whatever else because I don't know any better, but I caught you this time. Please, don't try and use wit. Your failed attempts are painful. -=Mike Hi Mike! You're right, that wasn't terribly intelligent. But neither are your painfully unfunny attempts at being the next Marney. But that's OK, I love you anyway OMG I'M FLAME-BAITING~! Seriously though, Mike, your whole point seems to rest that PETA's problem with this incident was that they valued the life of a donkey more than the life of a human being. However, I pointed out that no human being died, hence there was no human life to value in this situation, only donkey life. I then tried to back it up with some seriously unfunny wit, inspired by your own doing that at every post. This I'll admit, but I digress. What influence would PETA have in matters of humanity anyway? They are, as has been repeatedly stated, an animal rights group. Do you go to a stock-broker for advice on how to fix a computer? Good heavens no! Would you trust a stock-broker giving advice on how to fix a computer? No. Would anyone in a humanitarian issue listen to an animal right's groups' influence? Probably not. Hence, your case that PETA are SATANIC IRAQIS~! because of their response in this incident is not only void because no human life was lost in this incident, but because they really have no power or voice in the matter anyway. evenflowDDT - probably going to get a warning for flame-baiting Mike in a lame attempt to be funny
