Guest pappajacks Report post Posted March 20, 2002 Every month WWF RAW Magazine publishes an article intitled Fantasy Warfare.....it matches the two superstars,one from the present time and one from the past,against one another.They analyze both wrestlers abilities and talents and match them up against one another.In recent issues we have seen Demolition vs. The APA,Rob Van Dam vs. Superfly Jimmy Snuka and even Rock vs. Hogan(this issue was released before Hogans return). Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels THE HISTORY:Triple H and Shawn Michaels have been close friends for a long time now.Despite internet reports stating otherwise the fact reamins that they still have a close bond and keep in contact with one another frequently.These two met when HHH made his debut in the WWF back in 1995.Then known as Hunter Hearst Helmsley,HHH became close friends to HBK as well as the other members of the "KLIQ".HBK,HHH,X-Pac, Hall,Nash and even Justin Credible were the members of the KLIQ.They were not always well liked but well respected for what they offered in terms of the wrestling product.When Hall and Nash left the WWF for wCw,it was HHH that was punished and held back due to their actions at Madison Square Garden the final night of Hall and Nash's stay.HBK would go on to become one of the greatest WWF Champions of all time.Jim Ross is quoted as to once saying that HBK is without a shout of a doubt one of the best if not the greatest performer the WWF has ever seen.He was without a doubt one of if not the best WWF Champion due to his in ring abilities.HHH on the other hand coninued to work hard and learn what it takes to survive in the Game and became known in the locker room as being the student of the Game.HHH and HBK would be paired off on WWF TV right before the official birth of DX.Once HBK left the wrestling scene HHH took over DX and with it he landed into the role he is in now.Both these men are incredible performers but if they were to meet inside the squares circle...who would win? ONE ON ONE:These two have met on several occasions in the ring with HBK getting the majority of the victories over HHH.This happened during HBK's first run as Champion.HHH was still making a name for himself when HBK would go on to defeat his friend on several house shows and even once on Raw.HHH however does hold a controversial victory over HBK on a December 1997 episode of Raw.HHH and HBK had introduced the world to DX not that long ago and HBK was the reigning WWF Heavyweight and European Champion.In a match for the European Championship,HBK laid down in the middle of the ring having HHH pin him after the running the ropes for no apparant reason.Though controversial this was the only time in which HHH pinned HBK.In terms of wins and losses the edge goes to HBK however what if the two were to meet in their prime?
