If its offensive(and that was the point, offensive jokes for those who find humor there) then dont read it. Nobody was required to read that thread and I think it was pretty obvious what the subject matter was. I dont get the complaints, either share bad jokes or dont open/read such threads. So why should threads that don't have racial slurs or death threats be closed? Very simple, just dont open the thread. I dont like pedophiles and I have nothing against Jews or Christians or Blacks or Whites or anybody, but the threads only purpose is dirty/sick/bad jokes...and some of them were just bad enough to make a laugh or two. You dont have to agree with the joke but sometimes its just so wrong its funny. Most of them werent, but the thread was just getting interest when it was shut down due to complaints. Ragin Redneck made several racist remarks that were not exact copies of HHH and Flair said. I think his post was deleted. So if Triple H or Ric Flair came out and said 'I hate Jewish people' do you think you should be allowed to post that very same thing just b/c a wrestler on TV said it. RR made several racist remarks in that thread and basically said (if I recall) black people are second class citizens. A racist joke is usually one done in jest and doesn't imply that the person saying it is racist. A racist remark usually implies the person saying it is racist. I'm pretty sure snuffbox and HJ are not racists. They were just making jokes which was the purpose of the thread. The other thread was supposed to be about discussing the HHH v. There were numerous warnings as to what the content of the thread was and if you dont like it dont read it. Theres a big difference between outright racism in a thread that concerns a wrestling angle....and bad jokes in a thread with several warnings about the content! I doubt that anyone who posted jokes in that thread had their heart behind what was said. Theyre just jokes, not very original, and all quite bad. Thats the humor. If you didnt like it, dont read the thread. Simple. Id like to see the thread reopened for my reasons. If its not due to controversy, thats cool, but it doesnt make much sense to me that the mods have to coddle the kiddies here who cant read the WARNINGS. If Snuffbox or Hungry Jack had said something derogatory about Jews or blacks before or after the joke then I could understand. They didn't.
