Guest HANSgerman Report post Posted March 21, 2002 I remember Batman had to get rid of this bomb because it was in Catwoman's room so he brought it outside in broad day light where everyone could see him and for some reson it took him about three minutes to get rid of the bomb. He wouldn't even get rid of it because of the ducks. Also this wasn't a timed bomb it was the old fashioned sphere bomb with the fuse like in cartoons. I mean come on HOW LONG CAN THIS FUSE LAST!!!???
Guest Some Guy Report post Posted March 21, 2002 That was in the movie. West was ok as Batman. The campy show got old very fast for me watching re-runs. My problem was that none of teh actors except Catwomen were in any type of shape to be playing super hero or villians. Burgess Merideth(sp?) (Mick from Rocky) was the highlight of the show as Penguin, IMO.
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted March 23, 2002 I saw some of the movie on AMC a couple months back. It was hilarious stuff... I remember Batman climbing down a ladder over the ocean, and a rubber shark "jumped out" and bit into him. What did he call for? The BAT-SHARK REPELLANT~! (is the ~! thing passe? I never see Scott use it anymore in his rants) What does it do to the shark? It makes the shark explode, but Batman said it was OK because the shark was brainwashed. Hmmm, I think I know Vince Russo's main influence growing up... you know he would have made cruiserweights blow up if he knew how to get away with it legally. Guest Report post Posted March 23, 2002 LOL that show is awesome. Where do they show reruns? I want a DVD release of all three seasons and the movie. That would be sweet. Anyway once Batman parked the Batmobile at a meter and ran in Joker or someone's hide-out. But he stops and runs back to the meter for some reason. He puts a quarter in and stops to to Robin "There is always time for good citizenship old chum". ROTFLMAO!!!!! People diss the show but it wahat supposed to be silly. It was written that way intentionally.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted March 23, 2002 The movie is out on DVD. I wouldn't count on the seasons though.
Guest converge241 Report post Posted March 23, 2002 I loved this show. As a kid I couldnt figure out why they wouldnt slide down the slanted floors classic wide variety of guest villans
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 23, 2002 It was great. The whole villains putting Batman and Robin in a silly death trap and then conviniently leaving was just gold.
Guest toggle Report post Posted March 23, 2002 I liked this show when I was too young to know it was supposed to be funny(I made my own Batarang and utility belt!), and I love it now that I appreciate how goofy it is. I wish they'd put the series out on DVD to.
Guest Report post Posted March 24, 2002 The movie is out on DVD. I wouldn't count on the seasons though. Why not Ramsus?
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted March 24, 2002 Heh...now i KNOW that i'm going to get killed for this but oh well. I actually don't see Batman & Robin as a total pile of radioactive bat droppings like alot of other. The reason for this is that it had the campy cheesy feeling of the tv show. Now i'm not saying it was a good movie but i enjoyed the cheesiness and loved how in a few scenes they actually brought back the on-screen POW! BAM! KA-BOOM! stuff. Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted March 24, 2002 Why not Ramsus? There won't be a large enough market for it.
Guest Some Guy Report post Posted March 25, 2002 If the Movie sold well (which i'm not sure of) then the seasons probably would, especially if FX started airing the reruns to promote.
Guest RetroRob215 Report post Posted March 27, 2002 The DVD also has commentary with Burt West and a tour of the Batmobile.
