Guest Downhome Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 I'm just wondering where the best place to buy these are, that is all. Sincerely, ...Downhome...
Guest razazteca Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 I just buy my blanks at stores, I try to get 50 pack spindles for less than $20. The cheapest I found them was a Sony 50 spindle for $10 but that was in December. for online try www.pricewatch.com look for media
Guest Downhome Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 Online? Offline? I don't care, either one.
Guest TUS_02 Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 I don't know if these deals still exist, but if you look around (mostly Staples and those type of stores), a lot of spindles of CD-R's will have Mail in rebates that are just absurdly wonderful. My room mate would end up paying like $5 for like 100 CD-R's. It was nuts. I don't think the deals are THAT good anymore, but a sharp shopper can find them.
Guest areacode212 Posted March 22, 2003 Report Posted March 22, 2003 Just look in your latest Best Buy/Staples/CompUSA/whatever flyer. Usually at any given time, one of those will have a good deal.
Guest DrTom Posted March 22, 2003 Report Posted March 22, 2003 You can usually get tremendous deals at a computer show, but I wouldn't go to one of them unless you're looking to get some other things, too. Otherwise, places like Best Buy and Staples tend to have good deals, and there's usually at least one name brand (never buy generics) on sale every week.
