Guest hb2k_buzzsaw Report post Posted March 22, 2003 At the moment, it seems as if Kevin Nash wll be headed for a short stint in OVW before his return to get in good shape. At the moment, there are a couple of ideas for his return - 1) As a face, teaming up with Shawn Michaels or 2) As a heel, alongside HHH and Flair in the heel group, as Orton and Batista can't play full time roles with rehab and such. Either way, it appears he'll be on Raw, which is yet anther top name preventing people like Chris Jericho, RVD and Booker T from advancing up the card. This'll be on websites in a few days. Guest bob_barron Report post Posted March 22, 2003 Considering how crippled HBK is I don't see how he can continue to wrestle a full time schedule. Who is your source by the way?
Guest IB2BLACK Report post Posted March 22, 2003 Kevin Nash is a top name; true. But he is nothing, but a name.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted March 22, 2003 Bob- His gimmick is that he's an insider who posts info without a source.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted March 22, 2003 I believe you on this also, if only for the fact that I expected this to happen. I do not think he'll be a heel, I fully expect him to be a face, with HBK.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted March 22, 2003 But HBK can't work a full time schedule so how can he team with Nash?
Guest Downhome Report post Posted March 22, 2003 But HBK can't work a full time schedule so how can he team with Nash? He doesn't have to actively team with him in the ring, I meant as HBK being a part time wrestler/manager type deal, something along the lines of what Henning did for Flair. You can't doubt that Nash isn't very over with the fans a a face, he does get a huge reaction, for some reason.
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted March 22, 2003 I can live with an HBK/Nash Face tag team to help the Raw tag division. That is good.
Guest Brian Report post Posted March 22, 2003 Well, Nash can't work a fullt-ime shcedule either. They'll be called the Part-Tymers.

They don't do draw squat and neither does Kevin Nash. I hate the idea of an HBK/Nash tag team personally. I want Shawn Michaels off my TV and back down in Texas where he can go back to reading the Bible. I'm so sick of seeing that washed up cripple on my TV every week and I was hoping after Mania he'd be gone. Go away Shawn. GO AWAY!
Guest hb2k_buzzsaw Report post Posted March 22, 2003 Thing is, if he were to be with HHH and Flair, he'd do what he did in WCW, and be the cool heel, that actually wants the face pop.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted March 22, 2003 Why do I have visions of Nash costing Booker the match next week?
Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted March 22, 2003 Nash in OVW makes me larf.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted March 22, 2003 Nash should be a heel announcer and stay as far away from the ring as possible.
JasonX 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2003 But HBK can't work a full time schedule so how can he team with Nash? Simple. They only appear on tv/ppv and spend their time cutting promos on Chris Jericho with the sole purpose of humiliating and burying Jericho and Christian.... I feel the same way...but I doubt HBK is going to leave right after Mania. Have him lose to Jericho, Nash comes back, the two form the tag team and win the belts, and then whatever. Hey, I don't mind HBK on me TV if he's in the midcard helping other people....I hate it when he's in the main event not drawing shit.
Guest Ram Report post Posted March 22, 2003 He really should have left after Summerslam. He was on such a high note. Now he's the sideshow guy for a quick pop.

Guest Coffey Report post Posted March 22, 2003 I have no problems with Kevin Nash. He's entertaining to me. Same with Goldberg. Same with Shawn Michaels in ring. I'm not going to nit pick every little thing just so that I will have a reason to not like certain wrestlers. I'm not saying anyone here is doing that, I'm just saying that I'm not going to do that. When Nash comes back, regardless of what he does, I'll be happy for him. Same with Goldberg. Same with HBK for as long as he hangs around. Then again, I would be happy to see Jericho, Morley, & Storm @ the top of the card.

His TERRIBLE wrestling skills? He is the worst man in the wrestling business, ever. He was a draw for about 6 months in WCW, then that is it. He pulled WWE in a hole, and did the samething in WCW. I fuckin hate him as a wrestler. And I am such a knucklehead for waiting in line to get his autograph for an hour one time. It's on my wall now, and I'll probably get a quarter for the damn thing. Oh well, he was tall.

Oh well, he was tall. First and foremost, I could give a flying fistfull of fuck if a wrestler draws or not. If I like him, I like him. As for what I like about him. I like him on the mic for starters. He's funny. He entertains me. As for in-ring, I like his spots. The corner elbows, the random run-in's to Jackknife Cruisweights so that he can talk on the stick. Just thinks like that.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted March 22, 2003 I agree- Nash is very good on the mic. Making him a manager or commentator but keep him out of the ring

Guest NoSelfWorth Report post Posted March 22, 2003 Kevin Nash's sole entertaining quality, is the excitement you get from watching him, waiting for him to tear another muscle from either walking, breathing or blinking.
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted March 22, 2003 Kevin Nash will make a Run in during the HHH vs Booker Match, try to Attack Booker so HHH can retain the World title but he'll trip fall and Tear his Quad....then HHH will trip Over Nash...and Tear his Quad.... Bradshaw comes out Accidently clothelines Booker and Tear his Bicep....then goldust will run out.....but um.... he goes into a Tourettes Fit and Booker suddenly gets up after 5 minutes because he was suppose to Job after Nash ran out, but the script got screwed up and Rolls Up the Screaming and Crying HHH who goes NOOO NOOO IM HHH!!! DAMN IT IM THE GAME YOUR NOT SUPPOSE TO WIN!!! 1.....2.....3 Here is your winner and NEWWWW WWE Worthless Raw title..Booka T!!
Guest Nanks Report post Posted March 22, 2003 There has also been talk about that place that Nash would be brought to RAW and used at Bischoff's bodyguard/goon. Given the story at present, this would probably lead to him going after Austin at Eric's request. This could potentially be at Mania, or if he's not good to go yet, at Backlash

Guest creativename Report post Posted March 23, 2003 First and foremost, I could give a flying fistfull of fuck if a wrestler draws or not. If I like him, I like him. You said this in the Goldberg thread too. But, and sorry for my lack of creativity here, why should anyone give a flying fuck who you like? We're not discussing our favorites here. People dread Nash returning because he'll get a huge push on his return, which he shouldn't because he doesn't draw. If he drew, people would have less problems with it. No one was offended by Hogan when he was tagging with Edge. If Nash comes back and goes to the midcard to tag with HBK, I doubt anyone would mind him too much. Sure, they'll still make fun of him--for the simple fact that it's easy--but they won't have venom towards him. If he hogs 20+ minutes per show though, then you'll hear a lot of complaining, and rightfully so. There is simply no justification for that. I actually always liked Nash, his mic work and goofy attitude do entertain me. However he should be kept far, far away from the main event scene. Who I like doesn't matter; the only thing that matters is what's best for the business.
