Favorite Network

Sometimes when there isn't much on TV I turn to either Food Network of the Travel Channel. Those are the two channels that I can count on when everything else sucks. The History Channel would be cool if I could get it, but I don't.

Which is *your* favorite show to watch, when there isn't anything else on? Where do you turn to when you need some entertainment?

History Channel. Cartoon Network or Comedy Central are often second options.

If I just want brain candy on in the background, I leave it on Comedy Central, ESPN, Cartoon Network or Sci-Fi. I wish I got game show and Vh-1 Classic.

Comedy Central, even though it has ungodly amount of SNL repeats it is still my favorite channel.

Galavision has lucha libre and some good novelas

Cartoon Network's Adult Swim and Toonami are good blocks of Anime but the DBZ reruns are almost as bad as SNL repeats as it seems to have a cycle of maybe 10 shows then starts over again.

I like Fox because it has the Simpsons, Malcolm, that 70's show, and 24 (all are shows I will make a point of catching) I don't watch anything else on ABC, CBS, or NBC (unless of course if a sporting event comes on)

As for cable:

I like ESPN, Comedy Central, and CNN/Fox News ( depends on the show or news coverage). I also like VH1 because of Behind the Music and the fact that they will actually play music videos.

I am usually watching either the Learning Channel and whatever the cartoon channel here in Canada is called. I miss the History Channel. The Canadian version of it sucks ass.

Either Game Show Network or the Golf Channel. Or those all-music channels you get with digital cable...better than radio.

TV Land, Game Show Network, and especially FX.

You can't go wrong with a channel that plays "M*A*S*H" re-runs for at least four hours a day.

Oh, so FX is the name of that channel? I thought it was the M.A.S.H Network.

TVland, ESPN, and the news networks are good too. I wish I also had the Game Show Network.

What the heck is VH1 Classic?

I had it for a weekend when I had my cable hooked up. Think instead of Nora Jones or Michelle Branch, it's all Styxx or Journey. Pretty entertaining as I remember.
