I say no way in he11 but alot of posters think that having Hogan around is great for the WWF. So if he's one of the top babyfaces, should he be entitled to fight for the strap just like the young guns?

I voted yes.  But I don't mean have be the Undisputed Champion.  If they split up the titles, I wouldn't be upset if he beat someone for the WWF title and jobbed it back clean as can be the next month.  That was the only thing that Hogan/Rock at Mania was missing, IMO, it would have been even more special if Hogan dropped a world title to him.  It would be a true passing of teh torch.

I want Hogan to have the title Russo gave him...the "Hulk Hogan Memorial" Title.

It would be hypocritical of me to say no.

Seeing as I pushed so hard for an RVD push due to his overness.

Hogan is superover.

And if it holds up a few moths from now...then I actually would have to say Yes.  Give it to him.

But if it doesn't hold up...then no.

I differ from you bps. I pushed for RVD being elevated because he is over AND being able to get it done in the ring.

Hogan is over, superover in fact, but would his holding the belt achieve anything besides being a vanity trophy for the Orange One?

On a sidenote, when was the last time Hogan was in Canada? I'm much more interested how the fans in the states will react to him since he has received alot more exposure here than in Canada in the last few years.

I think the last time Hogan appeared in Canada was on a Nitro in early 1999. I belive the one where Goldberg speared Bret, but Bret had the metal plate under his shirt.

Bear in mind my hatred for the current belt holder.

Other than Stephanie...I'm up for almost anything.

Your hatred for HHH has served you well but at least there is a chance of Trips getting better. With Hogan, he can't all of a sudden reinvent his sh!tty offense.

No, don't cram him down our throats. It's been a great ride. Let him ride off into the sunset gracefully (as possible). As Champion (unless he had it for a week, or just turned it over like Vince did) he would be exposed even more so then he was by Rock as how limited he is now.

The way I see it...the Main Event doesn't have to be the best match on the card.  With the talent that the WWF has they can have great midcard matches all over the place.

But at the very least....the match should have good heat to it.  It should be exciting, and the crowd getting whipped into a frenzy is a way of making it so.

With HHH as champ...the crowd is dead.  With Hogan (at least right now) the crowd goes nuts.

I'll choose Hogan...and use this post as a reason that RVD has potential as a top guy.

Corection he could improve his shitty offense, he just won't.  We all had long discussions about how Hogan could improve a while back and many suggestions were bery do-able for the Hulkster.

But even a new Hogan offense would be sh!tty. I couldn't see Hogan increasing his workrate level. He's too #### old! By the way, what did people suggest Hogan should do to improve?

the general consensus was for him to use a better finisher, like a piledriver, which is considered deadly in WWF nowadays and then follow it up with the leg drop, using it like the People's Elbow.  He could even pose over his fallen opponent for a second before doing the legdrop.

Yes, if only to job it in his final ever retirement match and put someone over in the cleanest way possible.

Yes

(I am a hogan mark you see, nothing would delight me more... Unless it involved stacy on top of me... And even then it would be hard... to decide that is..)

sounds like WCW. The only difference is the WWF doesn't give the midcarders 20 minute matches to make up for the sh!tty main event. Just this past year, the midcard was weak but the ppv main events almost always delivered.

With the talent the WWF has, they can have top notch midcard and main event matches. They choose not to do so. That's a shame.

That should have been this past Mania. I doubt Hogan will ever experience anything like that again. If he was smart, that would have been going out on top. The belt would not make that match any more special.

"NO,NO,NO, This cannot ever happen,it'll be the old WCW all over again!"

Exactly! And if he were to get it, how easy do you think it would be to get the belt off of him? It would be near impossible. He would keepit until Vince grabbed it from his cold, dead hands.

Why doesn't goodhelmet and bps just wrestle to see who the undesputed hardcore champ is?

No. He doesn't need it. He couldn't defend it properly. He couldn't do it justice the way most of the main eventers (except HHH) could. And really, once the initial infatuation with Hogan wears off (like when he leaves Canada and starts wrestling in more hostile territory like Philadelphia or New York), it'll be business as usual, with him stinking up the ring and us clamoring for them to close the coffin lid on him.

Of course, I could be wrong...

I am The Godfather's Ho when compard to bps's Crash holly in the hardcore division.

Exactly, which is why Hogan should have hung it up at Mania. That was the pinnacle of his career so why even try to top it. I think the American fans won't be quite as receptive but we'll find out.

Philly and NY are Hogan country.  The WWF was a North Eastern based pronotion when Hogan started there.  He'll be way over in Philly, NY, and Boston forever.  The Carolina's would be more hostile, diehard Flair fans don't tend to like the Hulkster.

True. I think I was going more along the lines of the hardcore fans who despise the traditional babyfaces and tend to embrace the heels and workrate machines more. Although, the ECW vampires did get a major hardon when Sid walked through the door. Ah well, the fickle fancies of the wrestling fan. Go figure...

I still have to see how the crowds react to kim upon the return to the U.S. because the NWO wasn't exactly setting the crowds on fire, except for Hogan in Chicago the night Rock got ran over by a truck. After that, the response was very anemic.
