Guest The Superstar Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 The war between IntenseZone and HeldDOWN! continues. Which is the better brand? Why? What do they do that set them apart from the other? As of right now, I'm making an announcement concerning HeldDOWN! talent, and it's television programming schedule. Once a month, HeldDOWN talent will be featured not on a TV show, but in the official "HeldDOWN!" thread. This will herald back to the old days of the OAOAST. Once a month, you don't have to worry about furthering a feud the "official" way. Just go into the HeldDOWN thread, burn their house down and throw them off a 2 story building, and you're on your way! Hell, you can even write squash matches and post them in the thread: the soul of Road To AngleMania lives on! Here is the schedule for HeldDOWN, in April. April 10th: The Superstar April 17th: HeldDOWN thread April 24th: Angle-plex April 27th: Pay-per-view May 1: Zack Malibu We hope everyone in the HeldDOWN brand is ok with this, as it will help further separate HD and IZ as unique brands. Leave your feedback here.
Guest Anglesault Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 Will we ever acknowledge anything that happened in the thread? Also, The AP show should be the biggest non-PPV show of the month, build up huge matches on the Superstar show and give them two weeks to go.
Guest The Superstar Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 I think we'll acknowledge things like promos and squash matches (if someone interferes, etc.) but it can also be a place for fun stuff that won't be taken seriously. And that scheduling thing is a good idea.
Guest Angle-plex Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 I personally wouldn't mind doing all the feuds in the thread, then only have maybe 1 show, then the PPV in one month. Old Skool Style~
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 I thought the HeldDOWN difference was obvious... Our show won't suck.
Patty O'Green Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 I personally wouldn't mind doing all the feuds in the thread, then only have maybe 1 show, then the PPV in one month. Old Skool Style~ That's seems like it would be totally chaotic and confusing. Isn't some organization a good thing?
Guest Big Poppa Popick Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 thats why we started the shows in the first place IZ continues on as is, just for fyi

We did this when we were first starting and it wasn't confusing at all. Some orginazation is a good thing I guess though.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 Can we just keep the TV Show format? I don't have time to be going through a thread all day. The TV Show system is much simpler, and more logical. "If it ain't broke..."
Guest The Superstar Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 You weren't here when we started. The thing that made OAOAST different was the thread itself. Now, the TV shows take away the effect of the thread. I'm trying to recapture that feeling of when the OAOAST began.

But, I do know that I have much more fun planning out the intricacies of a feud, and slowly building in TV skits, then in the chaotic atmosphere of the actual OAOAST. Keep the thread, but don't replace the TV Shows. Have them both there.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 Speaking of threads, why was the HotNewzWIRE~! expose on Popick deleted?
Guest The Superstar Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 *I* Deleted it because Hot Newzwire is DEAD~!
Guest The Superstar Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 It should also be noted that the rosters HAVE been modified by BBP, so everyone should re-check them and see who is on what show.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 I'd just like to say to SS and the other bookers that I'm not trying to be dickish here, I'm just trying to give YOU GUYS feedback into what I think of the plan. I don't have a problem with one show a month as a thread, but the suggestion of making them ALL threads was what I was against.
Guest The Superstar Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 Oh, yeah, I wouldn't WANT it to be all in the thread...it'd be almost impossible to seriously arrange feuds.
Guest Angle-plex Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Seeing how the CWM/TSS feud, supposedly the best in OAOAST, happend all in the thread, I wouldn't say it's impossible to seriously arrange feuds. I still don't like the weekly shows as much as the thread by itself, but it seems like I'm alone on that. Are we still doing the week off a show than?
