Guest Youth N Asia Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 Stole my gimmick out from under me again *shakes fist in anger*...I forgot really I still can't believe that damn movie is on top again...I mean COME ON! I thought Dreamcatcher had it for sure. Good to see Old School stick around. View From The Top? BLEH! Does that actaully look good to anyone?
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 Um, I wanted to see "Boat Trip"
Guest TUS_02 Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 View From The Top? BLEH! Does that actaully look good to anyone? Of course it doesn't LOOK good, but it looks like there some parts that'll make me LOL for a while. Nothing I'd go out of my way to see.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 Bye bye Willard...it was nice knowing ya
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 Ok would someone please explain the hard on for Willard? I am very happy that finally a Steve Martin movie makes a killing at the box office. He deserves after how great some of his flops were. BTW for next week it should be close between Basic & Head of State. Still Bernie Mac's on fire and I see Head of State taking number one from BDTH.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 Prediction: Next Week: 1. Head Of State 2. Basic 3. Bringing Down The House 4. Dreamcatcher 5. Agent Cody Banks 8. The Core
Guest Choken One Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 Next Week 1. Head of State 2. Basic 3. Chicago 4. Bringing Down the House 5. Dreamcatcher 6. Agent Cody Banks 7. The Core 8. The Hunted 9. Old School 10. View from the Top
Guest Downhome Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 Ok would someone please explain the hard on for Willard? In short it is a smart and brilliant horror/thriller, that not many people "get". Crispen Glover pulled out one of my favorite performances ever, I loved this movie.
Guest Flyboy Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Um, I wanted to see "Boat Trip" Don't.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 I don't get you Americans. Bringing Down the House is bombing in Canada.
Guest the pinjockey Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 I think the Core may surprise next weekend. I am not talking about 50 mil opening week surprise but I think it could be in the top 2.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 The Core isnt exactly the type of movie that people will want to go out and see given current events and all. Sad thing too because it looks like a cool movie.. Next week, I figure 1 Bringing Down the House 2 Head of State 3 Chicago 4 Basic 5 The Core 1 and 2 can flip flop, but the #1 movie will be a comedy..
Guest El Satanico Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 The Core isnt exactly the type of movie that people will want to go out and see given current events and all. Sad thing too because it looks like a cool movie.. The Core looks like a cool movie? All of the horrible trailers for it have made it look extremely stupid. If it's actually a good movie, then the guy in charge of those trailers needs to be fired.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 I like disaster movies, and I am not interested in seeing the Core at all. It has some of the worst trailers I have ever seen, despite how fun the movie may be.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 **RANDUMB NOTES** Willard update. Willard came in 12th place this weekend: 12 Willard $1,425,000/$6,266,000 Agent Cody Banks was on the most screens; 3369. Which was 500 more then Bringing Down the House And as of last week The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers came in 16th place with just over $1 million. It's done $333 million now. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is just $1.7 million away from $100. While Daredevil is just about at $100 million.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Tech TV article about the science behind the Core (Possible Spoilers??) Apparently, while the movie might seem a bit stupid, theres some actual science behind it. Personally, its not a movie I would run out to the theatre to see, but I'll probably rent it when it comes out.
Guest El Satanico Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Well, The Core could turn out to be a good movie, but the trailer shows it off poorly. It's hard to even tell what the plot is.
