Guest Redhawk Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 I'm watching an old RAW tape and I just saw some idiot holding up this sign: "I'M A TESTICAL." Some other really bad ones... "Bischoff, you're days are numberd." A guy with a "Big Poppa Pump is my hook-up" sign. Those clever, witty "Game Over" signs whenever HHH loses. "Y2-Sellout," or "Y2-Ego" More?
Guest Dillon Likes Bossman Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 A sign that has stuck with me over the yeaars, Bam Bam v. LT, a littlie kid is shown at ringside with a lined sheet of paper that says "Lt"...i can't beleive it got on. I mean the camera zoomed in on the kid and the pathetic sign.
Guest MillenniumMan831 Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 That huge "Brock Lesner" sign at Smackdown last week.
Guest The Superstar Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 Whenever Goldberg wrestled: "Your next"
Guest KingOfOldSchool Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 Generally any sign with bad spelling can be thrown in here. The signs I usually hate are those with nothing going on. Like just with the wrestler's name or catchphrase. If you're gonna be holding up your damn sign and blocking my view, it had better have something witty on it.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...30&t=16043&st=0 Though I think I've seen the Ric Flair sign talked about at that link, I remember it being a multiman "WHOAAAAAAAA"
Guest bob_barron Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 Man- Redhawk must really love bad fan signs
Guest DerangedHermit Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 Also there was one I seem to remember. I think it was something really stupid like "Eddy Girlero" or equally gay.
Guest chirs3 Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 WHAT A bad idea in the first place, and there are no question marks or exclamation points either... just: WHAT
Guest Anglesault Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 "Edy mowd my lawn!" "You Screwd Bret"
Guest CanadianChick Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Y2Jerk...I must see that sign at least once a month.
Guest The Superstar Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 "We Want Puppies" ...4 years later.
Guest AndrewTS Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 "What?" signs. Site plugs. "I'd rather be in (name of "Diva").
Guest Nevermortal Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 "Great White Fears Pyros" In the crowd at No Way Out, about 3 days after the Nightclub fire.
Guest Eagan469 Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 At ECW Arena right after Owen died some guy held up a "Drop Owen Here" sign and literally got mauled by fans and security into giving up the sign.
Guest the pinjockey Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Y2Jerk is great but there was an especially great one a few months ago where it said Y2Jerk and there was this little face on it with the toungue sticking out that became a running joke with my friends ever since.
Gert T Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Although bad spelling has been covered, I was impressed by the "Welcome to Clevland" sign at No Mercy 99. Also I love the people who at TV tapings are still holding the signs up after the live Heat was over (1999), and the fact they were sitting on the wrong side of the arena.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Any "Deport Eddie" or "Deport Rey" signs. Considering each man is ALWAYS announced as being from America, I find it hilarious.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 3 Words......"GOAR! GOAR! GOAR!"
Guest ShooterJay Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Two weeks after the necrophilia angle, at a Raw in Boston, a six year old girl has a sign that says: "I'm a Katie Too"
Guest snuffbox Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Two weeks after the necrophilia angle, at a Raw in Boston, a six year old girl has a sign that says: "I'm a Katie Too"
Guest Si82 Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 "Astin slod out" Was held up at a UK PPV once. Makes us Brits look great don't it.
Guest Zero_Cool Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Sean Astin sold out! Holy shit! He used to be so anti-establishment when he was in The Goonies way back when! Sorry, couldn't help it...had to make a lame 80s connection.
