Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Kahran, can you change the title of the thread for me? To what?
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 I'm 1/2 so far and no war comments outside of Martin's jokes. I liked him the first year and defintely prefer to Goldberg. I thought Steve Martin did a great job last time of keeping the trains running on time and should do so again this year.
Guest El Satanico Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Well unless the guy that voiced gollum spoke i doubt we missed anything.
Guest Flyboy Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Kahran, can you change the title of the thread for me? To what? It's on the first page.
Guest Nevermortal Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 John C Reilly~! Chris Walken~! I'm torn. DAMMIT! Fucking Chris Cooper.
Guest Downhome Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Best Supporting Actor --- Chris Cooper (Adaptation) 2/3
Guest Flyboy Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 (edited) Assattack! EDIT: I swear J-Lo DOES have a nipple tweaker. Edited March 24, 2003 by Flyboy
Guest Downhome Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Achievement in Art Direction --- Chicago 3/4
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 First mistake. Gangs should have taken this.
Guest Flyboy Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 I smell a Chicago sweep for some odd reason and I haven't even seen the movie.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 I've been smelling a Chicago sweep for months.
Guest Downhome Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Oh God yes, I fucking loved Chicago.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Chicago sweep has been in the running since the nomination came out. I'm 2/4 as I went with Ed Harris on a hunch even though Cooper was the front runner. Harris is enough of a geezer yet.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Oh God yes, I fucking loved Chicago. My ranking of the Best Picture noms. 1) Two Towers 2) Gangs of New York 3) The Pianist 4) Chicago 5) The Hours
Guest Downhome Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 I own the damn soundtrack, I LOVE it.
Guest EternallyLazy Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 I smell a Chicago sweep as well... but I really want Scorsese to win Best Director. The guy deserves it... it's amazingly sad that he's never won an Oscar considering he directed the best film of the 70's (taxi driver) 80's (raging bull) and 90's (Goodfellas)
Guest Downhome Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Best Animated Short --- The Chub-Chubs 3/4 (I'm only going by the ones I predicted on this.)
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 They do that about every year with the animated category. Having Steve Martin call Mickey Mouse a "black actor" didn't seem to go over very well.

I see no reason to give it to someone for past mistakes or the such.
Guest Flyboy Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Man, I feel sorry for Garner. At least she got to do it twice.
Guest Downhome Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Best Live Action Short Film --- This Charming Man 3/4

Gangs is far from his best movie, but he did the best job out of those up for the award. He should win.
