Conspiracy_Victim 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2003 That's actually been a boiling point most of today. It's where the people from the 507th were captured when they got lost. Just looking on FoxNews, the battle has bogged down a bit. Also, they're reporting that the Ramallah oil fields just south of Al Nasariya are "unsafe". Apparently the Iraqi special security forces are pushing Iraqi units into an attack. Man if they manage to cut off the forces further north (almost to Baghdad by now) it's going to be a huge battle. However, I think we've probably held back enough in reserve, both ground and air, to beat the attack back.

Guest SP-1 Report post Posted March 24, 2003 Anyone else think we're going to wait only so long before we just bomb the hell out of whomever is in our way?
Guest El Psycho Diablo Report post Posted March 24, 2003 Anyone else think we're going to wait only so long before we just bomb the hell out of whomever is in our way? Hey, I'm all for it. Especially since I saw on CNN that they showed US prisoners on Iraq TV. Start bombing the hell out of them, I say.

Guest SP-1 Report post Posted March 24, 2003 Didn't we do that to a ground battle earlier today or yesterday? After so long trading gunfire didn't we just drop a couple bombs?
Guest El Psycho Diablo Report post Posted March 24, 2003 How I feel about it: Droping bombs on ground troops may not seem very 'fair'..but how many lives does that save on our side?
Guest DrTom Report post Posted March 24, 2003 Droping bombs on ground troops may not seem very 'fair'..but how many lives does that save on our side? Quite a lot, which is why it's a tactic we should strongly consider. Besides, fairness is completely undesirable in war.
