(in all seriousness, the WWE may not be doing it because CNN is immensley in the public eye because of the war, and they dont want to offend but COME ON its the WWE since when do they care?)
Bored Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 They probably haven't been doing them because they haven't even acknowledged his injury on t.v. or Batista's for that matter as the Evolution storyline has been completely erased for WWE continuity. Besides even though the updates were funny I think constantly having to push a guy based on him being injured isn't exactly going to get him over.

They mentioned his when he came out with crutches and interfered the last monday night.

I forget did they actually say he was injured when he interferred? Yes I know him having crutches would imply that. Having him there seemed pointless since he can't wrestle right now. What are they gonna do have him sit at ringside for the next 6-8 months? I guess that could be his new gimmick.

Last thursday, i brought my wife to work at WORLD FINANCIAL CENTER (and there was a news crew asking questions (about the war id presume) and the mikes said RNN. God, i wanted them to ask me a question. I was ready with my RANDY ORTON answer. niko
Guest evilhomer Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 I might be giving them too much credit, but maybe they were just worried about it getting stale. When the RNN updates were originally introduced, they worked perfectly with how they were shoving him down our throats to enable his heel turn. It's been done now, so doing it again so quickly wouldn't be as effective. There's also the fact that he's at least half a year away from returning, so maybe they don't want to run them for that long. Remember this is the WWE, do you seriously think they can write 30-40 RNN skits and keep them entertaining? I just hope we do get some updates when he gets to around 80.456%
