Jeff Hardy on No Holds Barred

Recommended Posts

Guest Nanks

This week, Jeff Hardy joined the No Holds Barred radio show and here are the highlights.

Jeff put over the Hardy Boys' new book and said it contains a lot of emotion. It is the story of the Hardy Boys following their dream of becoming WWE superstars since Wrestlemania 4.

Jeff talked of his love for music and his passion for freestyle motorcross. He called doing both in his free time great stress relief. He wants his fans to stick with him even though he has other interests besides wrestling.

Jeff said he is very focused on his singles career and he feels he can be more himself. He loved working with Shawn Michaels and he hopes after Wrestlemania, the two can continue to work together. He called HBK a huge role model and he said many in the company want to see more of Jeff Hardy and Shawn Michaels.

He called the TLC matches with the Dudley Boys, Edge and Christian a workshop of memories. He said he never gets tired of watching those matches. He mentioned all three teams always wanted the next match to be better than the last one. He said his body never took such a beating and after those matches, he had a hard time getting out of bed.

Jeff loves being on Raw because he feels it can get more crazy than Smackdown. He joked he changes his look all the time because it creates more Jeff Hardy action figures.

He said his career highlights as a singles wrestler were winning the intercontinental title and his match with the Undertaker.

When asked if he had a choice of being a part of the best selling rock band or WWE champion, which would he choose, he said he would be a part of the best selling rock band. Although, Jeff did say he would not leave the wrestling business until he becomes a world champion.

Then please go. PLEASE!

That sounds great--lay down, Trips. You can get it right back, anyway, and it wouldn't possibly hurt that title's credibility.

And I thought people were begging for Flair and Hogan to retire. Picture an 80 year old Jeff Hardy attempting a Swanton. The mental image is worth having to put up with another 45ish years of sloppy matches. He's never getting a World Championship. Hell, Matt has a character and as much as it pains me to say this, he's never getting a World Championship either.

Damnit. Double Edged Sword.

In order for him to go the fuck away, he has to win the belt?

So, have Jeff stick around and suck.

or.

Jeff Hardy,World Champ.

UGH!

You mean you'd take issue with Jeff jumping to Smackdown and pinning the man who strips Angle of the belt???

I reckon if his band actually gets a deal and sells some records like Fozzy it'll satisfy the wannabe rock star side of him and he'll spread his concentration more evenly over the both, seems to me he just isn't concentrating in the ring like he once did

Eh, eh...

Matt Hardy is 6'2" (not very short) and has a pretty solid build. He's homegrown. He works WWE style. He has charisma. He can draw heat.

It won't be right away, but I predict within the next five years Matt will be champ, or pretty damn close.

Well he's incoherent and he looks like a drug addict ... halfway there to becoming a rock star.

What's the rest? Having a hit record or two and then having sex with Pamela Anderson?

Damn, if Jeff would leave if he became a World Champ, I wish they had him beat Taker on Raw back in July...then get killed by Angle on SD in Boston. If I saw Jeff Hardy retired by Kurt Angle live and in person, that would be like the greatest moment ever.

So if Guns N' Roses becomes the highest selling rock band, Axl will trade Buckethead for Jeff Hardy?

ALso, Jeff should have spoke up sooner, he could have taken Gary Cherone's or Jason Newstead's place.

I don't know but Fozzy will be performing live tomorrow morning on Howard Stern. Jericho's band is going to have a contest with Howard's Losers.

Well, at least Jericho's group has original lyrics that aren't, ahem, ON CRACK. So what if most of their songs are covers? Jericho doesn't sound like he's still going though puberty.

Remember Jeff after that match with Taker? Good night. I'll just bet that comes through when Jeff's "singing".
