Megatron = HHH (for lack of a better comparison)

I really gotta disagree with this.

 

If anything, Megatron = old school NWA Ric Flair.

 

Galvatron, however, fits HHH to a 'T'.

*shrug* I'm flexible with it. Just saw Megatron holding down everyone, ruling with an iron fist, etc. etc. I can see Galvatron though. Usurper, Megatron-lite, kinda whiny etc. etc. Plus, Unicron created him (see my Vince/Unicron comparison for that one).

 

IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW!!

 

BTW, what do they consider Generation 1? Everything before the movie or everything from the first show? Then we get into Headmasters, Targetmasters, and the Superbots. That's going to play hell on disk space. I'm guessing just a selection of the originals with a few post-movie ones making the cut.

Big Show is more of one of the Gaurdian Bots used in the episode where the AerialBots go back in time and help create Optimus...

 

and I would say Trish would make a kick ass Elita 1 for now...

 

and that dude with the 4 faces from The Movie would be a great announcer...

 

and if Megatron is HHH....would Galvatron be the After Quad HHH...destroying Starscream (Jericho) first chance he got and taking back his crown (Unified Title)

 

and I think Dusty Rhodes would make a great Ironhide...

 

and the Sharkions...are definitely Smarks in disguise...destroying all that fall to us.......in fact...they are Smarkions...

 

and I think a Triple Changer would be a good comparison to an all around wrestler...with power moves, ground moves, and aerial moves.....

 

 

EDIT: Oh...as for Optimus Prime...you want a good comparison.......he *IS* WCW... especially if you counter in that in the timeframe The Movie was set in...the Deceptions (WWE) were winning (this would constitute the beginning of the movie to be the last week of WCW...with the first planet that is destroyed being the embodiment of Jeff Jarrett)

 

Optimus was created to try and thwart the Deceptions ...which he did for the most part...and they stayed pretty even (which was the first two seasons) and during the transition from season 2 till The Movie the power shifted twice...once to Optimus (or WCW with the nWo) and back to the Deceptions which leads to the beginning of the movie and Unicron/Vince destroying the planet.... then came Optimus being gunned down in battle (or SurSer Winner Takes All) and being left for dead...

 

this is a little off considering Megatron (pre injury HHH) should have been undergoing the "transformation" to Galvatron (after injury HHH) for 12 months during which Optimus would die...but I think Transformers should get a bit of creative license. Sure it sounds a bit off track but WORK WITH ME PEOPLE

 

 

Damn...i'm such a TF geek......don't even get me started on how X-pac reminds me of that little rodent from Beast Wars....except that the rodent could change and had more character...

see...my theory is that everything after Optimus dying hasn't really happened yet.... so that when Unicron is destroyed at the end (or should we say the destruction of Vince McMahon) that anything that happened after the movie hasn't not happening in pro wrestling...

 

so the "Return of Optimus" could very well be another promotion that is full of old WCW guys (or even NWATNA) coming from the ground up (which could make TNA = Hot Rod/Rodimus for lack of better comparison) and take over the WORLD...

And Flyboy it's a PS2 exclusive in Japan so I would imagine it would be here as well.

 

The game is starting to remind me of Dynasty Warriors... and that's a good thing :cheers:

According to GameInformer. the game hasn't found an American distibutor yet. Hopefully that will be rectified soon though.

 

P.S. This is a pretty damn good rip off of SKeith, all the way down to the snide no selling and wrestling politics lines.
