RAW rating DROPS AGAIN!

Recommended Posts

Guest swan
The first hour got a 3.7 and the second hour got a 3.3, which rounds off to a 3.5, or maybe even a 3.4

Yeah, umm, there is this war going on. Cable news channel ratings are up 400+%. The ratings for the NCAA are down 25% this year. More important shit going on for more people.

Honestly, they should have been doing their ABSOLUTE BEST for the past 4 weeks trying to sustain the audience after Austins return. But once the fans realized that it was the same announcers saying the same things with the same storylines going on with the same wrestlers - they turned it off. Stupid Vince.

Exactly is like time has suddenly stopped in RAW, they are still stuck in 99, which it was more than 3 years ago.

You would honestly think that McMahon learned from his last time around in the early-mid 90's about changing your product and not sticking with what was successful 4 years ago.

Raw has become a 2 hour Tough Enough Sing-A-Long, and I shall not watch it much longer if this is the direction it is moving towards too.

Many in WWE are extremely concerned about the ongoing ratings drops for both RAW and Smackdown, even more so considering that WrestleMania is this Sunday. Most in WWE viewed this period as a definite ratings boost time due to the returns of Steve Austin and the Rock, as well as the Road to WrestleMania. Despite all of that though, ratings have continued to decline.

Vince McMahon has only grown more concerned in recent weeks. He took over just about complete control of WWE's creative direction a few months ago assuming that he would be able to turn things around, but obviously he hasn't.

At this point, WWE's top management is confused as to how to turn the ratings around.

I think this is a load of shite!

Even when they would get 2.+ ratings in the early/mid 90's they would still get, or at least close to, a million buys for WM.

The ratings just are not there anymore. The WWE is down to its core audiance now and should worry about them. There is not a quick fix when the viewers don't exist.

If there is another wrestling boom it's not going to happen soon.

I don't think the WWE is down to its core audience yet. We are at about 50% capacity, whereas 99/00 was at 100% and Core audience is maybe 30%. But still, they SHOULD pander to us.

Well...maybe not the core, but this is what's he's stuck with now and should worry about keeping them happy.

WWE would be off tv if it were down to the core really. Not enough of us.
