But once the fans realized that it was the same announcers saying the same things with the same storylines going on with the same wrestlers - they turned it off. Stupid Vince. Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted March 26, 2003 Many in WWE are extremely concerned about the ongoing ratings drops for both RAW and Smackdown, even more so considering that WrestleMania is this Sunday. Most in WWE viewed this period as a definite ratings boost time due to the returns of Steve Austin and the Rock, as well as the Road to WrestleMania. Despite all of that though, ratings have continued to decline. Vince McMahon has only grown more concerned in recent weeks. He took over just about complete control of WWE's creative direction a few months ago assuming that he would be able to turn things around, but obviously he hasn't. At this point, WWE's top management is confused as to how to turn the ratings around. Credit: 1wrestling.com I think this is a load of shite!
