SNES/NES Emulators for the PSX

Recommended Posts

Guest The Metal Maniac

Ok, here's the deal. I love Mega Man games, period. I want to be able to play Mega Man games. However, both my SNES and my NES have gone AWOL (I'm honestly not sure where they are) so they're out. All I'm left with is my Playstation, and my PC (Obviously).

HOWEVER, I don't have a controller for my PC, and the one my buddy has is shite, and apparantly costs $50, so before I plunk down cash for anything that might suck, I would like to know if it's possible to get essentially all the Mega Man games available to play on my PSX. I've seen NES emulators on it before I believe, but I don't know about SNES, and I honestly don't know where to START looking.

Any help is appreciated.

Just go to Wal-Mart or the game store at the mall and get a cheap controller for about $10 its worth it.

Just get a Dreamcast, you can play every NES game ever on it, and soon all of the SNES games in full speed. It also supports Genesis, Game Gear, Atari, Game Boy, and more.

Burn emulators and Roms to disc to play on the console. The X Box scene is hot at the moment, with a possible N64 emulator in the works, only problem with this console is that it requires a Mod Chip, the Dreamcast does not.

So the newest DreamSNES has finally been released?! *checks* Well, nothing from DCEmulation yet, but its bound to happen sooner or later.

The Game Boy Advance is also a handy dandy emulation machine, in case you weren't aware of that one. Check this out for just a little bit of information on the GBA emulation world. I want to get one just to play any NES game I want, anywhere I want, lol.
