Guest notJames Report post Posted March 27, 2003 Hulk Hogan has still not signed the latest contract sent to him by WWE. Vince McMahon obviously has faith that Hogan will not no-show Wrestlemania, as they have along history together, and also would make Hogan look very bad from all the press appearances he has made. Apparently Hogan is holding out from signing the contract to see what kind of storylines WWE has for him after Wrestlemania. By remaining unsigned, he can easily refuse to participate in angles he doesn’t approve of, such as last November when he was booked to lose to Brock Lesnar, and chose instead to stay at home, having already fulfilled his contract. Credit: Wrestling Observer Newsletter -- I would be in Schadenfreude Heaven if Hogan walked out before WM. All this hype for Hogan/McMahon "20 Years In The Making" down the drain… that would be truly magical.

Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted March 27, 2003 Actually, if he doesn't like what he sees, then guess what happens? OH YAH~! You guessed right. McMahon will win and then Hogan's retired for good. Ok, so it's not a sure thing, but at least one can have hope right? I don't mind Hogan, I really don't. Yet, I think he was long done since his retirement in WCW. Sure he's fun for the pop and stuff in WWE right now, but he's kinda like Michaels right now. Except Hulk at least keeps me awake during his promos unlike Shawn. And I'm tired of the WWE bringing in the old guys to save the company. I want them to try with new people. Guest Mattdotcom Report post Posted March 27, 2003 Ohhhh, I hope Hogan just goes old-man crazy and holds out for more money or something, just because I'm a dick. (Scene: Vince's Office) "Well ya know somethin' brother! It's gonna take, at least $40 million to get Hulkamania running at Wrestlemania XIX at the Silverdome, brah!" "Terry, we can't pay that....you know we're uh....broke. Yeah...." (Stephanie enters wearing a crown with her name written in diamonds. Vince gestures for her to "get the F out") "What? Push Paul? OK, Daddy!!!!" "Vin-man, I'm also going to need a space man escort to the Silverdome, brah!" "Terry-" "Hulkster." "Hulkster, I don't even know what a space man escort would be, and WrestleMania is in Sea-" "Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah..." Guest Brian Report post Posted March 27, 2003 This is Hogan though. Unless Vince is in it to shoot, they're going to have him win.
Guest jester Report post Posted March 27, 2003 I would laugh my ass off if: 1. Hogan no-showed. Would this finally be enough to sour McMahon on him forever? 2. Hogan showed, and McMahon pulled a LEGIT screwjob on him.
