Guest Redhawk Posted March 28, 2003 Report Posted March 28, 2003 If my tickets say the event starts at 4:30 p.m., is that a good time to show up? Basically, I don't want to miss Heat or any of the pre-PPV stuff, like if they do any dark matches (do they even do dark matches at PPVs?). So how soon before 4:30 should I be seated?
Guest Coffey Posted March 28, 2003 Report Posted March 28, 2003 I don't have Wrestlemania tickets, but I've been to quite a few live events. I always show up early just so I can be at the front of the line. The line of people waiting to get in that is. That way, you're first in line for any food/drink or merchandise too. It depends on how patient you are and how much time you have on your hands. I'd go at noon.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted March 28, 2003 Report Posted March 28, 2003 How far behind is Seattle from East Coast time? There won't be dark matches for wrestlemania, trust me. And I'd get there real early myself. Cause odds are you'll never go to another one, so you might as well get there and soak up the atmosphere.
Guest Redhawk Posted March 28, 2003 Report Posted March 28, 2003 Seattle is 3 hours behind East Coast time.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted March 28, 2003 Report Posted March 28, 2003 I'd try and show up a little early still.
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted March 28, 2003 Report Posted March 28, 2003 Heat starts at 4 and since it's Wrestlemania, it probably will be worth it to get there as early as possible and deal with the long lines.
HurriShane Posted March 29, 2003 Report Posted March 29, 2003 I have tickets and me and my friends are going to leave around 1:30 and hopefully get there around 2:30-3:00.
Guest NoCalMike Posted March 29, 2003 Report Posted March 29, 2003 I was just at RAW this past monday and our tickets read that the event started at 5:30, and they let people in right abotu 5 o'clock. The lines moved pretty fast. Because this is WM though, I would get there way early, just in case they have anything inside setup for entertainment that you might not get to participate in due to barely getting there before the show starts.
Guest iamsherm Posted March 29, 2003 Report Posted March 29, 2003 I don't have tickets, but I would concur and say get there a couple hours before 4:30. I'm guessing security will be extra tight. While you're there, you could always look for the wrestlers walking into the building.
Guest ViciousFish Posted March 29, 2003 Report Posted March 29, 2003 While you're there, you could always look for the wrestlers walking into the building. Good idea but most wrestlers I'm guessing will get there by probably noon at the latest, most likely earlier.
Guest iamsherm Posted March 29, 2003 Report Posted March 29, 2003 Probably so. But I wouldn't be surprised to see the guys without much of a role on the show standing around and mingling in the parking lot. That's what happened when I went to Fully Loaded 2000 at least. Of course, it was just Crash Holly, Stevie Richards, and Scotty 2 Hotty so it might not be worth it.
Guest Brian Posted March 29, 2003 Report Posted March 29, 2003 Doors open at 2:30. I'm probably going to be down there around 2:00. It's really not worth standing around and the entrances at the field are structured to get people in and out really well, even with the added security.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted March 30, 2003 Report Posted March 30, 2003 Last year they didn't open the doors until 8... Though it was advertised for 6:30.
Guest Mik at Cornell Posted March 30, 2003 Report Posted March 30, 2003 Um, are you sure? The show started at 8. I remember waiting in line for a long ass time, freezing my BUTT off. I think we got in around 6:30 when the doors were supposed to open at 5:30. Maybe my memory is wrong. Nope just checked my WM tickets from last year and it says doors open at 5:30, they opened around 6:15.
