But what if HHH loses to Booker T.? HHH has to get a rematch at backlash, so that takes him out of the equation. Austin? I can't imagine they would rush this. Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted March 29, 2003 Here is the scenario I put up on another board: Have HHH out in the middle of the ring bragging about his win over Booker T(you know he is going to win). He starts saying how he has gone over everyone on the Raw roster and noone can stop him. He issues an open challenge to anyone in the back or in the crowd to come out and face him in the main event of Raw. The whole show speculation is running wild on who it could be. When the main event comes Gillberg makes a surprise appearance from the back. HHH gets on the mic and says how Gillberg was just a joke character based on a has been from WCW who was too scared to come to the WWE when WWE bought it. The match begins and HHH just destroys him. After the match HHH continues to beat on Gillberg when out of the crowd runs Goldberg. Goldberg spears HHH and then jackhammers him unconcious. Goldberg gets on the mic and says something to the effect of "I'm a has been huh? Well this has been just knocked your ass out and at the next ppv you're next!" Guest Choken One Report post Posted March 29, 2003 I don't like that idea...Having Gillberg come out would either give it away for those normal fans who try to avoid spoilers and it would only Cheapen the pop since Gillberg will have already had the music and Pyro done and that would knock the wind out of their sails... Likely WWE will blow it and Do the Free Agent crap again... Alot of are expecting Goldberg to just Pop up outta NO WHERE and SPEAR SPEAR SPEAR an main eventer right off the gate....So expect WWE to flat out say "Hey, Goldberg will be here tonight!" His first squash will probably be Chris Jericho, but, hopefully, they will use someone like Test instead. He'll come out and spear a couple of jobbers (ie: Test and Dreamer, etc). Then Bischoff will tell Goldberg that isn't how "the WWE does things around here." Thus Bischoff books Goldberg in a match against Jericho. Before the match, Jericho talks about his match against Michaels at WM, then he gets squashed by Goldberg. Of course the Rock tries to interfere in the match, which does no good and thus the Rock and Goldberg feud is born. Of course they'll bitch at each other after the match, to start the feud. Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted March 29, 2003 I swear if they do the "free agent" garbage thing with Goldberg they will ruin the ONE potentionally bezerk pop he may get. No need to have him walking around between two shows and then decides to come to Raw a week before backlash and then a match with The Rock is thrown together. He needs to come in as a suprise and just obliterate someone. With Rock - Goldberg coming up does this mean WWE is having Rock go over to look stronger. I mean if Rock loses, will that take some steam off a Rock/Goldberg feud, because then won't fans wonder why Goldberg didn't go after the WINNER of the match.
