Noo! same writing teams for both sides after split

Recommended Posts

"As it stands now, the same creative teams will be responsible for both Smackdown and Raw after the "brand extension" takes place next week.  The WWF is said to be willing to add new writers to the team, but as of now, there will not be two different teams for each show."

They can't even write the storylines they have now and they are supposed to write twice as many?

This news, along with the rumored rosters, are starting to make the split look pretty bad.

Nothing will change if the same team writes both shows. That means they will need to pay closer attention to details with the storylines.

i dont like the sound of that. makes me very afraid. The writing staff isnt too great at keeping track of internal timelines/logic on a wide scale.

Yeah, because if it's on 1wrestling, it has to be true. The only website that publically reacted to the letter placed on the WWF site. I wonder why? :D

Meltzer & Keller have reported in the past that the plan was to have the same team write both shows.

I feel sorry for the writers because if they thought they had a lot of weight on their shoulders, it's going to get harder now. I think it's obvious they are burned out or something since that buildup to Mania I still can't get over. I thought the whole point of the split was to at least somewhat differentiate the companies? In this state, they will be the same thing exactly.........stale illogical incoherant uninspiring angles and matches. ####, and I thought at least one show now had a chance (whatever one is not being booked by the current crew). I guess not.

The WWF has more than enough people in their company internally to have two different teams going at once. Vince, Steph, Jim Ross, Heyman, Johnny Ace, Arn, Hayes, Pritchard, Patterson, Gerwitz, etc. It would be healthy in that the teams would be competing against each other and would each strive to work their asses off. With this way, it will just be that they have to make Smackdown on an even level as Raw, so that neither company really goes farther than another. To Vince that might sound good, but it's not utilizing this split to it's fullest competitive advantages.

####, if Vince is so confident in Stephs talents as head writer, give her the book fullout for one of the shows and Vince can head up the other or something. There NEEDS to be seperation here on this level creatively or else it's going to be a bigger flop than anything Vince may have ever seen.

I don't have a problem with it as long as Stephanie loses and gets off of tv as of Monday.  She can write all she wants, as long as she isn't on the shows.  I think I'm making a visit to church on Sunday....

Get them to compete. Keep them on their toes. They can't keep track of one fed as it stands.

Steph has no buisness as the head writer.  Only reason she is head writer is becuase she is Vince's Daughter.  I hope she does loses and we don't see her on TV ever again.  Though that is doubtful as that happened to Vince awhile back and oh look VINCE IS BACK!  Just an act to get her off TV so she can suck HHH 2 inch wanker in private.

I still think they are going to pull off and split the titles using Jericho pinning Steph as the catalyst.
