Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted March 30, 2003 We always seem to be the last to get everything. Starbucks, Krispy Kreme. Anything I should look forward to in the up and coming months.

Guest RedJed Report post Posted April 3, 2003 Spring-like weather?... lol no shit, I'm so sick of this weather lately, up here in Duluth we've had an ice storm for the last day which turned into consistent snow showers ever since. I'm still waiting for a fuckin Dennys even to show up in Duluth still........its sad.
Guest franchise632 Report post Posted April 9, 2003 Being from a state that is very much into having Denny's let me tell you bro you aint missin much. Overpriced and not that good. But I like being here in Minnesota, atleast I can get to a Krispy Kreme around here, its an hour and half but worth the trip. And its supposed to be warmer by weeks end. Guest RedJed Report post Posted April 10, 2003 Aww man Dennys rules..........I've been to many down in the cities and etc, and I love em. I was in heaven when I was on vacation in San Diego a few weeks ago, I was literally four blocks away from a KK donuts.
Guest franchise632 Report post Posted April 10, 2003 Maybe they are better out here in Minn then they were in Oregon. And I know KK rule all, anytime im within reason to Coon Rapids I have to go get some, my brother tried to talk me into driving down there yesterday but i wasnt up for the 1 and half each way trip, but we are going to Mystic Lake this wknd and you can bank on at least one stop at KK. TWolves out in first round to by beloved JailBlazers and the Twinkies were a fluke in a bad division. But on a positive note, GO WILD, lol
Guest RedJed Report post Posted April 10, 2003 I'm not giving up on the Twins yet this season, but DAMN they are sure not looking good right now. T'Wolves.......eh I can't say I didn't expect that. There's some intangable missing from the team still, maybe a lack of drivepower or something.
Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted April 13, 2003 The Twins have won 2 straight .How the hell did they get swept by the Blue Jays at home.
moral suasion 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2003 It's cool that the Minnesota posters are vocal on this board. Minnesota doesn't have weather? I realize that it was a joke, but that is a dumb stereotype. I live at the U of M and it's been 80 all week. The Twins are getting back on track at 6-6. I think that most people overreacted to the 2 sweeps. What the Twins dont have is an awesome stadium. Gimme an outdoor baseball park, baby. I'll sit in -30 degree temps for my Twins. What doesn't minnesota have? A football team that will ever be as great as the Viking were in 1998 or 1999. Whatever the 15-1 season was. Does this post belong in the sports folder? Guest RedJed Report post Posted April 16, 2003 Personally, the Dome has never bothered me, in fact I actually enjoy watching either football or baseball in it. I don't think there is a need for a new ballpark for either team, personally. Damn I wish I was living down south than in Duluth, we had ONE good day of weather yesterday, and the rest of the days so far lately have been subpar. I think you all in the Cities missed the sick snowstorm we had week before last, it was the worst of all year. Anyway back on track here..........another food place I haven't seen in either Duluth or Mankato (old hometown) is Papa Johns. Do they have them down in the Cities at least? Guest RedJed Report post Posted April 18, 2003 Papa John's rules. We don't have fuckin 7-11!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know, thats yet another thing we dont have up here in Duluth (hate this town!!). But yet we have Perkins (the fucking worst restaurant ever) on just about every other block. Here's another things I've realized, there is hardly any Long John Silvers anywhere in this state anymore. I remember when I was a kid there was a shitload of them everywhere.

moral suasion 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2003 I enjoy the Leaning Tower of Pizza. I don't think it is a national chain, but I know there are a few in the Metro area. Anyone eaten there?
