To many Superstars, it sounds too good to be true. Angle is optimistic but a little skeptical himself; he’s going to meet with the doctor later this week. Wow, it does sound too good to be true.. but if he does come back in a month, maybe we will be saved from a Goldberg-headlined Backlash..

By finding out about a type of surgery they weren't aware of. It's not like it went from possiblly career ending to 6 weeks while using the same type of surgery.

It's not like it went from possiblly career ending to 6 weeks while using the same type of surgery. That's why I'm weery of this, because we've never been aware of it. Edge, Benoit, Rhyno, Lita all had this neck injury and we never heard anything about it. You'd think we'd at least hear something right?

Get a second opinion, fine, but Kurt shouldn't risk paralysis or worse just because he wants to get back in the ring quickly. Dr. Youngblood is one of if not the best in the business and his disgnosis shouldn't be taken lightly. I hope Kurt does get more opinions on the matter and makes an INFORMED choice, not one based on the disgnosis he likes best. If it means taking months off (maybe not the whole year, but still a substantial amount of time) but Kurt comes back healthy, it's all good. Not like the fans are likely to forget him. Rest up, do what needs to be done, and get healthy.
