Guest Downhome Report post Posted March 31, 2003 wtf How did it go from "may never wrestle ever", to 4-6 weeks?
Guest edge-o-matic Report post Posted March 31, 2003 But since then, Angle has found a neurosurgeon, a Dr. Jho from Pittsburgh, who has told him that he could have “reconstructive” surgery and be back in four to six weeks. To many Superstars, it sounds too good to be true. Angle is optimistic but a little skeptical himself; he’s going to meet with the doctor later this week. Wow, it does sound too good to be true.. but if he does come back in a month, maybe we will be saved from a Goldberg-headlined Backlash..

Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted March 31, 2003 Why would any sane man listen to advice from Scott Hall?
Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted March 31, 2003 Wow... That's amazingly too good to be true. But that would be great if it's true.
Guest notJames Report post Posted March 31, 2003 I don't believe it. Angle better not rush himself. As much as I want him to wrestle, I'd rather he didn't risk it by playing guinea pig for some quack. After that SSP, I wonder if Angle's gonna have a roommate in the neck injury ward... Guest Deebo Report post Posted March 31, 2003 TOMMARROWS HEADLINE: "Lesnar to miss up to a year after botched SSP" Wouldn't that be some fucking irony. I hope it doesn't happen though. Lesnar is cool, him and Angle had a great match.
Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted March 31, 2003 HOLY.... Please let this be true, please let this be true...
Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted March 31, 2003 The mere fact that Scott Hall likes this guy makes me distrust him immediately. Take the safe route Kurt, take your time off. Do what's best for you, not that stinkhole company.

Guest Lord of The Curry Report post Posted March 31, 2003 I just "broke" the story when I called into Live Audio Wrestling so I'm assuming that Dan and Jeff will discuss it with Dave Meltzer when he comes on.
Guest Space_Cowboy Report post Posted March 31, 2003 Well this is great if it's true, though i wouldn't want Angle to come back earlier if it would be risking his health.

Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted March 31, 2003 It's a shame that Edge already had the fusion done. =/ However, it's a good thing they found this out, since similar injuries like this have popped up. YES!! YES!! YES!!
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted March 31, 2003 What if the opposite is true...what if that Angle didn't really get injured as bad as the WWE leaked out to the Dirtsheets...and Made us Smarks have a funeral on Angle's career at WM but in fact Angle was better off and they were just messin with us?

Ultimo Dugas 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2003 Maybe the WWE has been donating money to charity to raise their "karma" to get good news. [/EWR]
Guest Deebo Report post Posted March 31, 2003 I still am wondering how it goes from possible career ending to 4-6 weeks. You all know the saying.. if it's too good to be true, it probably is. I don't want Angle to end up in an Ultimo Dragon situation.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted March 31, 2003 I still am wondering how it goes from possible career ending to 4-6 weeks. By finding out about a type of surgery they weren't aware of. It's not like it went from possiblly career ending to 6 weeks while using the same type of surgery.

It's not like it went from possiblly career ending to 6 weeks while using the same type of surgery. That's why I'm weery of this, because we've never been aware of it. Edge, Benoit, Rhyno, Lita all had this neck injury and we never heard anything about it. You'd think we'd at least hear something right?

Conspiracy_Victim 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2003 Dude, did Jho get his degree from the Tiajuana School of Miedicine or something? Get a second opinion, fine, but Kurt shouldn't risk paralysis or worse just because he wants to get back in the ring quickly. Dr. Youngblood is one of if not the best in the business and his disgnosis shouldn't be taken lightly. I hope Kurt does get more opinions on the matter and makes an INFORMED choice, not one based on the disgnosis he likes best. If it means taking months off (maybe not the whole year, but still a substantial amount of time) but Kurt comes back healthy, it's all good. Not like the fans are likely to forget him. Rest up, do what needs to be done, and get healthy.
