Guest GameCop Report post Posted March 31, 2003 didn't look as bad as I thought. One question though: how do you record streaming video?
Guest EMAXSAUN Report post Posted March 31, 2003 I am not sure actually, this isn't mine, I just found it online, and decided to share it with the SmarMarks here, because people were asking for it.

Guest LaParkaMarka Report post Posted March 31, 2003 It worked fine for me. Â From what I heard, I thought it was going to be a lot worse. It seems plausible that Kurt avoided it, so I guess it came off as well as it could have. Â Really sad to see anyone land like that though.
Guest EMAXSAUN Report post Posted March 31, 2003 The music video makes it look somewhat less devastating, but watching it on ppv and then seeing bumps all over his face with a bloody nose made me cringe

For some reason, it looks a whole lot brutal here, meh.
Guest Special K Report post Posted March 31, 2003 Seeing it live, I thought he was dead. Too bad, when he does it right, t's gorgeous.
Guest Mole Report post Posted March 31, 2003 If he landed that correctly, it would of been SICK. Kurt was way to far out.
Guest HVilleThugg Report post Posted March 31, 2003 I agree...when i saw it live, it looked sick. I watched with a friend and we both cringed. It was strange...of course, we both argued for a half hour over whether it was a work or not. My friend's arguement was that he was supposed to miss it, as he swore that Kurt moved (which he didn't). He said that Lesnar wasn't supposed to land on his head though. Â Anyway...it looked beautiful...until I realized he wasn't going to make it all the way around. Just think...it could have been worse if Kurt was closer...but Kurt was just too damn far away. Lesnar gets great air (good god he gets high), but he didn't get the distance. That was my first time seeing him do the SSP, so it's kind of upsetting that he blew it...and of course, as a result, WWE will never let him do it again. Â God, after the kick out of the first F5...i literally leaped up and started jumping around cause I knew he was going to do it!!
Guest Zero_Cool Report post Posted March 31, 2003 I called my older brother into the room, knowing that Lesnar was going for the SSP after the second F-5. But man, if he would've hit that baby correctly..the roof would've blown off of the place. I don't think we'll ever see it correctly pulled of in a WWE ring now...but at least he seems to be ok. Guest Brian Report post Posted March 31, 2003 It looked better here then it did live, mainly because I saw Brock paste himself in the head and it didn't seem like Angle moved at the right time. They should have done a tease spot first, with Angle hitting the belly-to-belly. Angle worked a pretty smart match.
Guest notJames Report post Posted March 31, 2003 Is it me, or did Lesnar's forehead start to blow up and turn purple after the match? The way he was clutching the top of his head made me fear lots of dangerous things, like a hemtoma or hemorrhaging or a fractured skull. I mean, 300 lbs. driving your head straight into the mat... that spells trouble with a capital T. Â And yes, Brian, a teast spot would have fit in nicely. Â BTW, I couldn't really hear much when Brock went to the corner before the SSP (all my rube friends were going nuts after I told them the SSP was coming). How did the announcers play it up? Guest Brian Report post Posted March 31, 2003 There was a big mark that looked like it might have been bleeding, and his nose was leaking a little.
Guest CED Ordonez Report post Posted March 31, 2003 My exact comment in response to it was "That sound you heard is the sound of two years coming of Brock Lesnar's career." It was dually cringe worthy because not only was it a badly blown match ending spot, it was also Brock landing on his face and bringing thoughts of Hayabusa into mind. Guest Bruiser Chong Report post Posted March 31, 2003 I watched it last night and thought it was just sick looking and after watching it twice this morning, I thought the same. The thud that you hear when his head smashed into the mat is just sick. I showed a friend of mine it this afternoon and for some reason, although it looked sick, it didn't seem to be as sick as earlier. It seemed that he was able to get at least a portion of his arms in the way to "cushion" the bump as much as they possibly could. Maybe it's just me. Perhaps it's just me building a tolerance for it, as was the case with the Foley bump off the top of HIAC.

Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted March 31, 2003 ...and bringing thoughts of Hayabusa into mind. My sentiments exactly. I'd give it a .8 or .9 Hayabusa.
