MooreMark 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2003 Anyone think that the whole video package debut is crap. I wanted to his surprise entrance. They better not have these kinds of crap debuts. If he isn't going to have this kind of debut just give your opinion on these type video packages to bring in a wrestler. EDIT- Its a Backlash promotional video but it gives away his debut. This way all the marks who care enough about wrestling to dish out the money for mania or go to wwe.com can hear it first and tell their friends around school on monday. So WWE gets a BUTT load of "fresh" viewers to hook for the biggest Raw of the year. It's a lot smarter than just dishing out a gigantic suprise pop when not as many viewers will be watching. Everyone knows that WM is seen more than any other PPV, so hyping Backlash (and Goldberg) you are garunteed some buys for Backlash that you otherwise wouldn't have gotten. "I haven't watched wrestling in a long while, but how 'bout we order WrestleMania!" "HEY! Isn't that that Goldberg fellow! I haven't seen him in a hella long time!" "He's going to be at Backlash!
