Is there anything left for Brock?

Recommended Posts

I was just thinking about this today. In his first year he has already had:

- the monster heel run

- King of the Ring

- First title win

- Babyface turn

- Royal Rumble win

- Babyface WM ME title win

I think they gave him too much too quick. And I don't mean that in the "paying your dues" sense, I mean that in the how else can the book him way. It just seems that one year into his career and they have already used all of the big money chips that they have with him. Maybe he still has a monster heel run going into mania with a title and losing but that is about it. Does anyone else have an idea of where he goes from here?

He's done more in one year than many wrestlers will do over the course of their entire careers. To put it somewhat in perspective, it even took HHH about 3 or 4 years to accomplish all of that.

I thought the exact same thing when he first won the title... if you look at all of the top guys in the business, as far back as Undertaker and as recently as Kurt Angle, all of them have had somewhat of a journey to the top that took time and patience. That's what builds drama... to see someone slowly turn into a main eventer by climbing up the ladder. It took Bret Hart YEARS to be pushed as a main event level star. Same with Austin. Same with HHH. Same with Booker T.

Of course, it's a different time now...

As for what will happen to Brock... I think he'll play the Undertaker role. He'll be the guy they push for a while, and then they'll throw him back into the midcard, pushing him into the main event whenever needed on down the road.

I say lose. Or go up against someone who's better than him. I don't count him losing against Big Show, cause he totally destroyed him, later. If you look at Brock's two title victories, IMO they are kind of tainted. When he beat The Rock, he was leaving for Hollywood the next day. Same with Angle and his neck injury. He hasn't had a real feud.

Since they built up Lesnar so huge, they now need to shock the world and have someone like Cena win the belt from him to not only get Cena over crazy, but to make Brock human (even though after the botched SSP, I think him just glaring into the middle of nowhere is a perfect example of that.)

I wouldn't be shocked if he goes over Goldberg in the last of Goldberg's contracted matches, just as a big "fuck off" to those who see Brock as a take-off of Goldberg

the Golden one probably made sure he stays on Raw to make sure he never faced Brock...... Like the running theory of the WWE making sure Batista and Brock never really stands in the same ring for fear of the Whole Paradox thing. Though they did fight at the Rumble and somehow Space didn't explode.

Well thankfully Taker was in there to get rid of Batista. His power of no-selling is more powerful that the Brock-Batista Paradox Theory.

He'll pin Austin then probably suffer his first real loss, which will do someone big.
