Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted April 1, 2003 So I went to the outlet "mall" that's right up the street from my school. In it are a GameStop (formerly FuncoLand), a Toy Works (owned by KayBee), and a Strawberries (music/movies/concert tix/video games). I look in all three. No Def Jam. So I'm wondering... Was the "April 1" release date an April Fool's Prank? If so, touché.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted April 2, 2003 Don't games get released on Thursdays?
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted April 2, 2003 Usually Wednesdays, but many games have been released otherwise. I remember the original Mortal Kombat was released to home systems on a Monday.
Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted April 2, 2003 Actually many a times when a game gets a release date, it's the shipping date. Not the actual date that it's in stores. Only a select few production crews of the gaming world actually have the release date as the in store date.
