Guest Brian Report post Posted April 4, 2003 It's one of the reasons that Jeff never gets punished. He sells an unusually high amount of merch, and they can't afford to punish him too hard. At the same time, he's not committed to the business fullly, realizes that, and understands that this is some form of punishment (being excluded). Helms probably. Guest Brian Report post Posted April 4, 2003 I'm pretty sure Trips merch slowed to a halt once he was injured. I don't have the numbers, but thev first year of his push didn't sell too well either, and it wasn't until people started catching on to the invicibility and took the title off him that he started doing well. Right now, it's doing as strong as ever probably. Jericho's merch has been good lately, but not what it was in the summer of 2000. There's just a whole lot more invested merch and design into Jeff and the Hardyz than just about anyone. It's obvious the WWE is cashing in on this cow as much as possible, something they haven't done as much with anyone else except those two and maybe Trips, but they've only done that within the comeback.
