Nash upset with the rock?

Recommended Posts

Guest converge241

I dont think it was the big daddy part. Rocks already made fun of that name before at No Way Out.

And Ripper you are right. Nash's promo and delivery were great. I cant remember the last time he showed that much fire.

I'd have shown that much fire too if the one guy who was supposed to be getting the biggest boos in my little enclave was suddenly top of the heap and I was relegated to "whiny bitch" status. I think it was more frustration at the handling of the nWold booking than any kind of promo talent BDB might have.

And from recent reports, itis the "bitch" part that irked the Big Daddy Crybaby Weasel the most, apparently because of the adlibbed nature of it, and he couldn't react the way his character would have normally, i.e., ran down and "bitch"-slapped Rocky.

Eh, by the looks of things, Nash is the bottom of the nWo barrel, even with X-Pac and his Amazing Underoos in the mix. I wouldn't be surprised if he and his Politicking Teardrops of Doom were given the heave-ho before SummerSlam.

Without Hogan and with everyone aware of their reputations, Scott Hall is allegedly behaving like a prick backstage and even HHH is openly being talked about as a backstabbing bastard. I don't think the kliq has the clout it once had just because the boys are aware of what they are like. The thing that works in their favour is that the McMahon's are onside. Man I wish Fusient had got it's act together. There needs to be a place for guys who are being messed around to go.

"Wah wah wah! Rock didn't follow the script! I was supposed to be the funny one! I was supposed to get the pop! Wah wah wah! Now where's my six donuts?!?"

Six donuts?  What are you talknig about dude?

how many times has Nash berated someone to get himself over? Vanilla Midget anyone? He's pathetic and offers no redeeming value to the company.

When did he say "Vanilla Midget"? To who?

In all fairness to the Orange one, it was Austin who refused to do a program with Hogan, not Hogan refusing to work with Austin.

I heard about this but I thought it was a rumor. Did he out and out refuse to work with the Orange Goblin?

This bitching is from a guy who did basically the same thing to Goldberg to make him look bad.

What and when did he call Godlberg a bitch unscripted?

Shit, the he and 3 other guys went out and mocked a guy who has done more for the business than nash ever has, AA's retirenmnet speech without AA even knowing about it.

I hate Poochie but how was that his fault? It was part of the show and that was his job.

Remeber when Road-Dogg, Billy Gunn, and X-pac got REALLY pissed because HHH called them Roadie, Rock-a-billy, and 123 Kid in a promo when it wasn't scripted?  I think this is along the same lines.

When were these?

Does anybody ELSE want to see a return by Jim Cornette for the sole purpose of cutting another ***** shoot promo on Big Lazy to go with his one about the "Liver Spot" promo

What was Cornet's promo like and about? Did it air on tv?

Without Hogan and with everyone aware of their reputations, Scott Hall is allegedly behaving like a prick backstage and even HHH is openly being talked about as a backstabbing bastard.

Why are the rest of the guys turning on HHH?

I just read it at pwtorch. This is ridiculous. He felt his character looked weak?  Why because someone called you a bitch? That's sad man. I think it has more to do with thinking they can get Dwayne Johnson to be his bitch. I mean why didn't he complain to Austin about knocking him down with a toy net gun? Cause Austin is as lenient that's why.

Mastermind, can you explain this agin? I have no idea what your trying to say.

Sorry... meta-reference to another thread. It was a parody of the 1bob report about Nash's whining about being called a bitch. I'd tell you where it is, but it was recent and I'm sure you don't mind doing a little homework  ;)

And back in Nash's heyday in WCW, he called Benoit and Malenko IIRC "Vanilla Midgets" because he was positive that guys that small couldn't draw as big numbers as the larger main eventers, although time and pretty much anyone with a brain in his head have proven this idiot wrong on so many counts.

I think the one he called a midget was Malenko during a match with another NWO guy or soemthing. I'm not that sure.

Hello smarks? This info is from 1Bob.com? I guess it's scriputure then, huh? Ever stop to think this leaked out to work some of you? I wouldn't put it past 1Bob or even Rock and/or Nash to work us. Read the #### signature below.

But being that it's Kevin Nash we are talking about, I would Not put it past him. His politicing has been well documented in interviews from disgruntled wrestlers and wrestling employees fed up with his BS

Also DangerousA, the Bruce Wyne thing is bothering me man. If you want your Kawada avatar, it's located here....

Fixed the Bruce Wayne thing. I know about Nash's well documented backstage stuff. I'm just wondering why when 1Bob posted about Austin all in a huff the other day, quite a few smarks came to his defense and questioned the source. All's I'm saying is if we are to defend Austin, we should defend others, even when that person doesn't really deserve it.(Nash, I'm talking to you)

I never questioned Austin's raising a huff or the source. I simply believe that Austin had a right to be sceptical about working with Hall and refusing to put him over. Austin's put over RVD, Jericho, Angle, HHH and numerous others. It wasn't until the last days of the WCW (Steiner, Booker T)that I remember Nash jobbing to anyone cleanly. And the fingerpoke of death doesn't count.

Not to mention Nash openly talking about Scott Hall on Nitro, after Hall was fired, and Nash was told not to.  I guess Big Kev forgot about that.

What was Cornet's promo like and about? Did it air on tv?

Cornette had an interview spot on WWF programmes and cut  great promos on "the wrassling war" one example I can think of is Sean Waltman the only guy who's been let go since this whole wrassling war started. you know why Nash and Hall keep Waltman around? Because they think it's funny when he gets drunk and pukes up on himself.

Shortly after Waltman was back in the WWF and Corny disappeared from our screens.

On his on the record interview it was felt that he unfairly put down Jericho and reports have come out about him putting down guys in production meetings. A couple of weeks back Jericho had a go at Hebner about Hebner missing a spot on TV where he was meant to take a weapon off Jericho. HHH stepped in, blamed Jericho and stuck up for Hebner even though he had fucked up.

standing in for Mastermind Nash felt that if his character was called a bitch he'd run down to the ring and attack, but couldn't do that because it wasn't in the script which Rock had strayed from. He did get a spot in the tag match where he was attacking Rock in the corner and saying who's the bitch now huh and Cole called it.

Uhm, how has that been proven wrong?  Benoit or Malenko must be pulling in those big numbers even now, years later and I just do not know about it.

Anyway, its not just that B&D are short, but that they also have boring personalities.  Guys can be short and have personality and still succeed (Angle), can be tall and have no personality and suceed (Andre), or have both qualities and be all that and a bag of chips (Rock).  Guys with neither one of those characteristics don't characteristically do very well in drawing crowds.

As much as I hate to admit it, Nash actually has a point.  It is terribly difficult for smaller wrestlers to draw big numbers, dollars, etc.  However, it has been done.  Shawn Michaels was 5'10 on a good day of the week and was very over.  I attribute this to Shawn's work rate, he was charismatic, and WWF pushed him to the moon.

I think Malenko and Benoit haven't been really over because they both lack charisma.  I think a smaller wrestler must make up for his lack of size with in ring work, which both Malenko and Benoit have, and have loads of charisma, something neither have.

I didn't know this thread was still kicking. Well, sorry for not responding Ghast and thanks muzanisa. He was correct what I was saying and the part with Austin I had made a mistake. I meant Austin wasn't and isn't lenient as Rock with terms of his character and storyline. I just find it ironic Nash started bitching with Johnson before anyone else (with his status) because we know Rock would lay down and do things for storyline purposes. Pick on the easiest target of the upper echelon of the wwf.

Well, since the nWo has returned the interest in the WWF has skyrocketed.

Nash knows what he is doing.  HHH knows what he is doing.  Scott Hall knows what he is doing.

And you know what, the nWo is working big time.

Yeah, it's that damn Jericho's fault he couldn't draw ratings in a match with a Hardy brother.  God KNOWS that HHH and Austin could this time last year...

The ratings spike after Mania doesn't count.

The split and draft brought in the ratings, not the nWo. Ratings never spiked when the nWo was the main point of storylines.

the reason the nWo tanked was many reasons:

1: Austin HATES Hogan. And doesn't want to work with him.

2: nWo was doing nothing of sorts. The only good thing was the promos with Rocky. And then went overboard to kill the effect.

3: Hogan was getting pops for being Hogan and nobody gave a rats ass about Hall or Nash.

4: They were booked to be jokes to Austin, and when they had the upperhand, it looked weak(cinderblocks exploding on impact to a fucking knee?)

5: The problem with the nWo in the beginning was it played to too many groups. Smarks knew they were poision. And old time fans knew how they ran havoc in WCW. WWF fans and caual fans didn't know and they didn't care either. So it was weeks before failor.

6: Lastly, they blew their loads too many times killing a good thing. Hogan's first match sould have been Mania. Hall and Nash should have only done punk outs with Austin trying to get to them but never getting a chance. But beat downs on Austin could have been possible. Austin vs Hall was like the 6th match at Mania and 10000 from the top. The card should of had Rocky vs Hogan as the main, HHH vs Jericho second from top, Austin vs Hall 3d from top, Angle vs Kane, Womens match. It would have ADDED heat to the main, not kill other matches.

Nash and Hall are going to be blamed because they are nWo and new guys. Rocky, Austin, and others won't be because it would hurt the locker room.

Nash called Jericho, Malenko, and Benoit "Vanilla Midgets" , but the problem is. 2 of 3 are over. Two of the 3 will be champs by the end of 2002. Nash is just living off the past and a bitter man for being a shell and a non draw.
