Guest Slingshot Suplex Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 One win in 3 games.....that's all you need. Although not at the expense of the Wings tomorrow night because I'm going to that game.
Guest starvenger Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 The magic point total is 2 and the Isles have a game in hand, so I rather hope that they'll be able to do it...
Guest MaxPower27 Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 They're both lambs being led to slaughter. Either NYI or NYR gets Ottawa in the first round.
Guest starvenger Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 Perhaps, but Sens/Isles would have a decent subplot with Alexi Yashin.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 Oh, it'll be a great series, but I was just hoping that Isles/Rangers fans weren't getting their hopes up. Much like Toronto v. Philly. Philly in 5 I tells ya..

Guest fairtoflair7 Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 The Isles will give the Sens a run for their $, i'll tell you that. All teh games this year have been competitive and the most recent game had the Isles winning 5-2 in Ott. The Isles may not win but it will be a series.
Guest The Czech Republic Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 I usually detest all things Long Island. Jets, Mets, Nets, Islanders, (even though only the Mets and Isles are still on the island) WWF shows at the Nassau Coliseum. But I want to see the Rangers miss the playoffs simply out of spite.
Gert T Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 I agree Czech, as much as the Rangers spend it will be nice to see them miss the playoffs again

The Nets left the cesspool known as Long Island a LONG time ago. Don't lump them in with that group of losers
