Should hhh be champion right now?

OK, the HHH debate has been going on for awhile so let's put it to a vote. Should HHH be holding the straps right now? If so, why? If not, feel free to explain.

 

Personally, I feel that Trips is not in the condition nor is he over enough as a face to warrant a title run.

let me see, poor condition, lack of condition, too #### slow, too #### boring on face promos, not over enough, not playing a face at all well.  pretty much everything about trips says that he shouldnt have the belt right now.  though at least the belt has taken a back seat and trips should be getting the message that there about 4 faces and at least 3-4 heels more over than he is.

The WWF should have made the main event of Wrestlemania a triple threat with Jericho, HHH, and Angle, with either Angle or Jericho winning the match.

 

Why not HHH winning?

 

Because HHH was unover since January 7, hasn't been able to put a good match together, and shouldn't be even in contention for the belt this soon after an 8-month abscence.  

 

Austin had about 1-year abscence due to neck surgery and it took him about 6 months to win the title.

you would think with all the HHH supporters someone would have voted yes by mow.

I mean it seemed like a good idea when he came back, but his momentum just went downhill real fast.

 

His promos are boring.

 

His matches don't get the crowd reaction that a World Champ should get. They don't have to be ****, just interesting to the crowd. They aren't.

 

And as a face he doesn't have a long list of possible heel threats. There's what Angle, Jericho, and Undertaker. That's it.

He should have the straps now if AND ONLY IF he is to lose them back to Jericho. Reason being it would be a great plot device to score Jericho some major heel points.

 

Run a program with them another two months, and when Jericho is good and ready, he can drop the title to Trips again. This time for real.

 

If HHH is to hold them any farther than Monday night, then no, he shouldn't have 'em right now.

HHH in theory should be the biggest babyface in the company.  After all he went through etc... I think one of teh resons he hasn't is because they have told us what he went through 7 million times and wears thin and is devalued after a while.  Plus teh booking of his return was horribly botched, he wrestled on TV 2 weeks after his big comeback, which exposed how limited he is now.  

But they gave him the strap and now in the ultimate cheap heat move he's going to get rid of Steph.  How long do you think the heat lasts for that one?  2-3 weeks maybe.

Also, part of what makes a babyface over is the chase for the title, Austin chased HBK, Rock chased HHH, etc...  There was no chase here, just a foregone conclusion, I think that turned people off too.
